Correct Jack, and that's a fact. The FBF knew his Bond onions ages ago :!: The hell with Broccoli's inane boy toy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFCM6TZgTMI

On Almost Playing James Bond:

"I screen-tested for James Bond when I was 22. But Daniel [Craig] was above and beyond the best choice." (Henry Cavill statement).........also........... Roger Friedman: "He’s in, he’s out. That’s been the story with “Skyfall” director Sam Mendes about returning for more James Bond. Now I am told that Daniel Craig has persuaded Mendes to return for Bonds 24 and 25, each written by John Logan as a two parter. Mendes was denying this up to two weeks ago. Inquiries were made, and Mendes insisted that he wanted to stick with his theater schedule. Mike Fleming broke the story a little while ago that Mendes was being wooed back.
But I can tell you that it’s because of Craig, who wanted him to reproduce the “Skyfall” magic. Producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson have been in London trying to get the Mendes-Craig pieces put together. They want to get started on Bond 24 tout suite. The sooner, the better. The two movies together can soak up five years’ worth of work. And then even Craig will be done as James Bond."

I'd be surprised if Mendes came back for 2, if he does this I'm guessing the back to back filming could be a possibility.

I wonder what CR would be like with a truly young man as Bond beginning instead of Daniel who looked in his forty when he was 22. They jiggered so much of CR to follow Bourne and Batman the heaviest cuts were to allow Daniel to play a character he still can't grasp 8 years on.

The same can be said with Michael Fassbender. And you know what? From now on, James Bond shall be played by professional wrestlers/fighters who can act, the likes of Marty Feldman (in terms of unattractiveness), actors with prosthetics, freaks & weirdos, or other actors with anti-classic looks.
Broccoli wants Mendes and Cr-egg forever so it's a moot point now.
Craig cannot be Bond forever as nothing last forever, but considering he has made history with Skyfall, why not Sheamus? Or Bender from Futurama? They can strike billions with increase in their Bond movies' gross (each better than the last). Heck, you might as well consider these guys as the future James Bonds.......maybe not after DC but after Sheamus.

And this is only if Babs remains after DC retires. After all, she screwed up Pierce and had those minions blame him for his Bonds going downhill after GE. In doing so, the James Bond franchise is not for us rebels anymore so therefore, the general public shall be feed with the idea that anybody (minus those with the traditional classic tall and dark-haired looks) can be Bond. And look at this video. This is James Bond people, and this is what he will be look like DC and Sheamus finished their respective duties as Bond.

After Sheamus is done, yes. I think Barney and the Teletubbies are ideal choices.

FBF, you are the expert on casting freaks and weirdos and ethnic actors in Broccoli's Bond world. How about this guy in Eon's future? http://media1.santabanta.com/full1/Spor ... olt-2a.jpg

Another sure thing bombs, and will smiths movie drops hard.

The internship crashed because it was a dumb concept and all the ads for if trying to make the aging stars seem cool only reinforced the reality of how dumb the idea was to begin with.

Fast 6 is amazing holding on like it is.

Star Trek 2 is incredibly low, at this rate it will not break trek 1 BO totals. Hate to say it but its bombing, might of been a hug mistake to move it to a summer release over the planned winter one.

It should be able to surpass Trek 1's $385 million before it ends. Right now it's making around $376 million worldwide.

I was thinking of us totals but you're right it close to the fist worldwide now but it has stalled, for all the advantages it has it is way behind where it should be.

$200 million movie needs $600 million to start to make money sometime more when it has a big name directors.

Into Darkness was a good movie I'm puzzled why it is not breaking records like it should, does it have any where else left to open? I think it just opened in china which would explain the bump taking to closer to first movie.

JJ Abrams taunts 'Star Wars' fans with hints about 'Episode VII'
J.J. Abrams has the world of "Star Wars" fandom on a string, and how he loves toying with us! Abrams dropped a hint about "Star Wars: Episode VII," which he said will start filming in London in January 2014 "if all goes as planned." Abrams also said, "I think the key to moving forward on something like this is honoring but not revering what came before." Oooooh, but what does that mean?! Jar Jar Binks will be squashed by a compactor, we hope we hope we hope? Disney has certainly honored the old "Star Wars" movies by bringing Lawrence Kasdan, who wrote "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi," to write the script for the new film, in partnership with Michael Arndt ("Toy Story 3.")
