I'll give a few Dr. No avatars a spin since I'm not sour on Bond. I don't like Craig's spy but there is no reason to go sour on Bond, Ford didn't build good cars for a long while they built the biggest POS in america, eventually quality came back, same thing will happen to Bond. Even if Craig were to quit it wouldn't mean the next Bond would be any good thats why its good to always have the classic to enjoy.

I think I celebrate the 50th as Sean Connery does, at home watching Dr. No.

Don't let the bas***ds get you down Shaken, Bond is bigger than Craig.

The problem is Daniel Craig is starting to dominate the whole series and I'm almost put off watching the old films and reading the Fleming novels because they remind me of Craig and Barbara Broccoli with her ridiculous statments. If Craig is Bond and his Bond movies are great Bond movies then I hate James bond. I think Bond films are tedious and that James Bond is a smug charmless berk who I do not want to be. Hopefully in December people will stop talking about Bond and it will be easy to ignore Craig's "Bond" again.

I was hoping that Craig would leave after two of three films so he would not be a big part of the series but his career is dead outside Bond (despite B.Broccoli calling him a great movie star ) and Craig is being lavished with praise so he will keep ruining Bond films and pocketing the $20 million bond paycheques for many years to come.

Reminds me of that episode of Spaced where Simon Pegg burns his Star Wars collection after watching The Phantom Menace. I'm not there yet but two more Daniel Craig films might do it.

Apparently Simon Pegg went to see one of the newer Star Wars movies(might have been the Phantom Menace,I can't remember) and was very disappointed.

I'm just locking the classic Bonds away. Like Carl said, watching them would remind me of DC's Bond and all the Bab's evil ways.

Q, the film will fade quickly here in the USA once people get tired of it's ridiculous plot. The problem rests with BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRocolli She won't let Cr-egg go and her obsession has redefined iconic characters poorly.

Craig is a good actor (Munich, Layer Cake, Road to Perdition, etc all good performances), but to me he just doesn't 'look like' what Bond should look like. In fact, he looks more like a Bond villain.

Agree Connery is the best Bond, but I'd take Brosnan over Craig, as Bond.
