This is very encouraging from James Bond 007 Magazine -
It's my contention that the tone of a Bond film is the hardest thing to get right - too flippant (à la Moonraker) and you lose all sense of reality; too serious (à la Quantum of Solace) and the glamour evaporates, leaving you with nothing more than a hollow series of action sequences; equally fatally, if you attempt but fail to balance humour and seriousness, you risk a fiasco like the irredeemably awful Die Another Day. It's therefore to Mendes' credit that he gets the tone and tenor of Skyfall spot on; this is a Bond film which provides some outrageous spectacle, as well as incorporating some bizarre almost surreal touches which would be at home in a Fleming novel, as well as some killer one-liners reminiscent of the Connery era at its best. However, this is also a film which maintains an admirable seriousness of intent, most notably in its determination for its characters to have three dimensions, rather than act as bland ciphers or clothes horses. Skyfall never becomes too light-hearted but, equally, the joyless earnestness that plagued Quantum of Solace has been banished. It might sound like a contradiction in terms, but perhaps the best way I can characterise Skyfall is to call it a 'serious romp'!
If Graham Rye thinks Skyfall is 10/10 (not forgetting he gave QoS 1/10) then I really think this film will be something special.
After 14 reviews, and Skyfall is still on 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.......
Graham Rye said Casino Royale was brilliant and I was prepared to believe him but hated the film when I saw it. Skyfall might be amazing but I'm afraid it will all be wasted on us this the second we get our first look at Daniel Craig's haggard face again. I have no idea why anyone is happy for James Bond to look like a diminutive construction worker.

Contactmusic.com: "Adele's single for the soundtrack of the newest Bond movie has failed to hit the top of the UK charts, having been beaten out by Swedish House Mafia's Don't You Worry Child. Skyfall is closely followed in the charts by K-Pop sensation Psy's internet hit, Gangnam Style and Rihanna's newest single, Diamonds. Despite limited promotion, Adele's effort had been touted as sure to storm the charts on its release - a feat, which no Bond soundtrack has ever achieved. It seems it wasn't in the stars for this song either, which only managed to climb two places after entering the charts at number four last week"

My life used be revolved around the Bond franchise the day Pierce was horribly dismissed. Now it's all about the Bat even after Bale's bat.English Agent wrote:If Graham Rye says 'Skyfall' is good, then that sounds very positive, i mean his whole life has revolved around the Bond franchise.
Speaking of the Bat, I like to see another interpretation of the Dark Knight, but it's too soon at this point. I give it another 7 to 10 years, and I say put the 2nd reboot in a TV format. What do you think, BJ?

You do know how crazy you sound, right?
Daniel Craig is only the actor hired by the production company who makes James Bond movies. He's not Lucifer.
I don't agree with the decision to reboot, in one hand it was brilliant move in another they have no idea to keep it going. If Skyfall is a good movie it should probably be his last. The way I'm told it wraps up it's a possibility. Pierce Brosnan kept hanging on hoping they hand him another GoldenEye if Craig makes the same mistake he'll go out making cookie cutter Bonds that will be worse than the Quantum of Solace.

To date, the only live-action version of Ant-Man was when Garrett Morris played him in a skit on Saturday Night Live in the 1970s. Margot Kidder was the host and the skit had Superman (Bill Murray) and Lois Lane (Kidder) hosting a party for super heroes.bjmdds wrote:http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/edg ... mber-2015/ Where's FBF? The Hulk (John Belushi) was bullying Ant Man. "And what's your power?"
Ant Man: "I can shrink to the size of an ant but still have the strength of a human."

I fall in this category. I went to see CR and and left heated. Saw QoS and it was a hot mess. It was so bad that a person who sat behind me questioned Bond's sexual preference by calling Bond a gay slur, in which I would never thought would ever happen. But I have to continue our family tradition of seeing it on the first day....and this time in IMAX.

Now I'm not saying all Craig fans are like that. There are open-minded Craig fans, such as Sweeney, who see the faults in things like tinkering or removing traditional Bond elements, and who don't agree with every decision the producers make. But there are quite a few new fans that don't care or understand what made Bond so popular in the first place. And as I said before, because the fan base has been split in two, the producers are going to have a very difficult time with pleasing both audiences. But by the looks of it, It seems they rather just cater to the new audience than the old one.
Its all about the money. The newer, A.D.D./Bourne-influenced crowd is who they're catering too. Skyfall will be no different...you can see it in the trailer.
