I'm sure Craig called his buddy BJMDDS over for a private screening

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I am noticing a lot of BS in these reviews because these critics keep praising the supporting cast of actors with Mendes as the director. This film is not about Bond saving the world..........it's about Bond saving himself
I do not think people will be pleased with the overemphasis on M and a creepy villain as well. "Bond traditionalists will be disappointed with the return of the gadget master Q, while Ben Whishaw is funny he doesn’t give Bond much to play with. As he says “What were you expecting, an exploding pen? We don’t do that these days.”

The writers have ripped off elements of TLD (killing agents), MI (NOC list), Silence Of The Lambs (Bardem's role), and the plot from YOLT (fake Bond death)
If these reviews were legit, why don't they state how UNoriginal this film is as a Bond film? It's only critics kissing up to Hollywood. The Vampires will drive a huge stake through the box office heart of this junk veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy qyuickly.
A kick ass ridiculously casted MP with a childish Q to boot, and THIS is receiving critical acclaim? Give me a break. Sweeney, when you see this film, take notice of it's ripped off spliced plot from other franchises.

I think Bond 23 is trying to be like the new and improved DAD (minus the OTT stuff and CGI).

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
That whole "We don't do exploding pens anymore" quote is just another another way of the producers being spiteful to classic Bond fans. Just like the gunbarrel being at the end, even after all the complaints. And I hate it when people say "It's just a gunbarrel!" That gunbarrel is not only the traditional opening to a Bond film, it's also a piece of cinematic history. It was the first thing people saw in Dr. No back in 1962, and it's always been like that until the reboot. Some people may only think it's just a gunbarrel, but if one tradition is messed up or lost, then it will eventually be followed by another, and yet another, until the series is no longer recognizable for what it originally was. What's the point of even calling it James Bond anymore?
Barbara says that they make the films for the fans, but that's not true at all. They make the films for themselves, and despise the fans that don't go along with their new direction to Bond. They take the money from the older fans for so many years, and then suddenly just kick them to the curb like they don't matter. And as a fan that has spent tons of money on Bond collectibles, and has been loyal to the series for years, it's very disappointing to say the least. I never thought that I would be upset or wish bad upon the series, but now I do. It seems I'm on a hot disappointment streak. I did not really care for the last few Bond films, and Skyfall will not be any different. And as time goes by, I'm getting more and more impatient. The only thing that keeps me clinging on to this series by a thread is the classic films.
Barbara and Michael better sharpen up, otherwise they will just continue to lose more fans and destroy a great series. Honestly, I think it's time for Barbara and Michael to be replaced with people who actually want to make proper Bond films, and not just do whatever they feel like.

Join our rebels Saint and wish the series doom with Cr-egg, this ridiculous Moneypenny, and a miscast Q, along with a director from hell for this series and producers who are clueless. George the animal Steele as Bond, right FBF? Directive 007 is now in full swing, correct?

Whether DC leaves after Bond 23 or not, the animal (or any other freaks) shall take over as Bond if Bond 23 surpasses QOS and CR (especially here in the US) even by a penny and/or receives nomination(s) from high profile American movie awards.
Based on this continuing madness, the world doesn't James Bond unless the freaks are being sent in, and this all depends on the sanity of the general public (especially here in the US) this holiday and especially awards season.Directive 007 is now in full swing, correct?

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
The gunbarrel thing is just stupid. The reason for it being at the end of QOS was, supposedly, to signal the end of the origins story. But Bond is supposed to be a more experienced agent in this, so what's the excuse thsi time? The Saint 007 wrote:That whole "We don't do exploding pens anymore" quote is just another another way of the producers being spiteful to classic Bond fans. As for the exploding pen, I'm going to reserve judgement. One review said that there was a reveal that drew a round of applause from the audience. My guess? Exploding pen.

All the reviews so far have been from so called journalists who are paid to do so. They are all invited to these things, and no doubt from all the one sided opinions, have been paid off handsomely.
Not one of them had the courage to say what they really thought. How amazing.
The test will come when the general public view the film, and let the real reviews begin.

Correct WhiteKnight and welcome to our fortress of Bond solitude. I still contend people will be bored by the Mendes ripoff plots, sliced together into a 142 minute farce and FEW of these minions will re-enter the theatres to see it more than once at the prices they are now charging. Trust the public's wallets, not the fake paid off critics who Eon stashed cash into to defraud the public. Say, where's all the Adele mania? SILENCE folks........... http://entertainment.time.com/2012/10/1 ... ard-chart/ The moronic “Gangnam Style” is MORE popular. Remember, if it's too good to be true, it usually isn't

I think we have a bit more taste this side of the water.....
With regards the US, Adele rocketed immediately into the top 10, only the second time that has happened in Billboard’s 54 years of publishing charts. I still expect it to climb even higher once the film opens.
