Look here chaps, we all know that DC doesn't quite fit the profile of the
classically handsome dark haired chap that has been portrayed by actors
in the past as Bond...........but he aint no elephant man.

I mean seriously, dont you think it is a bit shallow to keep thinking like this when the majority of people have embraced the guy for his efforts
and determination to make the Bond series as best he can, despite all the
adversity thrown at him.

Its the job he was hired to do...............at the end of the day he made a very good first impression as Bond in CR, and i'am sure he will make a cracking good performance in Bond 22..........and i'am sure as Bond fans
you must be looking forward to the the film, as what is the purpose of
continuing to post here, with comments about his appearance......i mean
do you intend to continue with this for the next few years. You are only
denying yourselves the enjoyment of the film franchise you say you aspire to.
How about a serious discussion about the new film on the info we have so
far.

I think Craig would make a fine elephant man.

If Bond 22 is to start as CR left off, we could well be in for more of the same, which will be irritating for me, but I'm sure you'll love it Brain and so will many others. The thought of a 40 year old struggeling with puberty is not how I perceive Bond to be.

My hope is that the film moves on from CR. You can include 'White', but just move it on a year or two and let's see more refinement.

The problem is Eon MIGHT be a little too close to MI6, no matter how many times they deny it, and for me, as Spock would say, is the ONLY LOGICAL assumption to be made by their actions.
There is this thread on MI6 that is still going.

Well there you go. One of the mods on there has left an invitation open to anyone who thinks MI6 is biased, and tries to ban all debate on CR and Craig -

Is this what it takes for NicNac to listen? He even states this website in his response. I guess he was affected by this weekend's calamity at MI6.

That gets realy old and it's called FLAME BAIT *and* it doesn't belong on MI6. It's tiresome. And it's why so many people don't feel comfortable posting there anymore.

One person's freedom of speech is another person's feeling threatened.I don't expect you to understand that(that's not me being rude,it's the truth!)
I too do not think that EVERY thread should indulge in that either, I agree;however, a specific thread geared towards such a discussion should not be locked and it should be allowed to continue and those who post on it should state their feelings.

It appears Craig is not only in the gym trying to bulk up even more than in CR, but he is also taking skiing lessons as well for the next film. I wonder if they plan on another segment similar to TSWLM or AVTAK? Will Moore look better on skis than Craig? Only time will tell. The locales must include a cold climate as well. Perhaps a mountain retreat as was in OHMSS?

I can assure you Craig will look much better since he won't be standing in front of a cheap projection.

I don't remember Craig saying he'll bulk up much more than CR, I just remember reading he was simply getting back in shape.

Welcome Ragtime to the forum.

BJ is a popular member and his thread has sort of become the General discussion area.

Hello all, I'm new here, Bond fan is the name.
I guess that tells you something about me.
So what's the deal here? Are all Bond fans welcome or do I have to dislike Daniel Craig?
I think Roger Moore is the best Bond. Daniel Craig is a good OO7 too, but I hope that wont offend anyone here.
To be honest I like all the guys who have played James Bond.
Look forward too learning more about this site.

Everyone is welcome, but bear in mind that this forum was set up for the benefit of those of us who don't agree with the adulation that Craig and CR have been getting from critics and fans. As long as you don't try to "convert" us, you should do fine here.

Welcome to the forum. The title of the site gives you a clear indication as to the main taking point, but since it's conception the forum has grown and is now a site where all Bond issues are discussed.

Hope that helps.

Why do MI6 always set aside "Craig bashing" threads? Surely you can just criticise CR and its actors in any relevant thread?
