Dame Judi was on Anderson Cooper today. Nothing about Bond, she mostly talked about her blindness and a movie(not Spyfail!) she had coming out soon.

Nimoy remains FBF, with 2 Spocks for the price of one. This is nonsense. I'll go back to ST IV. They want to recreate the storyline but are going too far off tangent yet it still will be popular with the public I bet.

I'm happy that Nimoy returns, but it's the recasting of Khan that REALLY bothers me. I find it very insulting to Ricardo Montalban, who is the ONE and ONLY Khan.

If Benedict Cumberbatch is indeed Khan, then Star Trek 2 is out of my list to see in theaters next year. Seriously, why rehashing something that is so iconic? This is just as worse as WB's idea to reboot Batman the 2nd time.

*small voice* I like Benedict Cumberbatch *small voice*. I'm not a Star Trek fan, so Khan ISn't iconic to me(blasphemy, I know)

Pierce Brosnan On For The Coup: "As for Brosnan’s exact role? We’ll leave the explanation to producer Steve Alexander, who released a statement picked up by the Hollywood Reporter: "Having Pierce step into the role of a mysterious and ultimately heroic government operative is the perfect compliment to Owen's everyman dilemma. We're thrilled to have him on board.” This is what FBF likes to hear. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ukpres ... 62A&size=l If it comes out in 2014 it may butt heads with Bond 24. If Daniela Transvesta is still on board, it will be an all out global assault on Bond 24 as we garner support for The Coup. FBF will lead that effort as he will unleash his anti-Cr-egg venom on Bond 24 and promote The Coup globally on the internet :!:

I hope this doesn't end being up cancelled as well as Pierce himself not backing out.

It will be released in 2013 IMBD now says, so no conflict with Bond 23 unless a quick sequel. Pierce won't back out of this one FBF. He has waited 10 long years for this type of role. Even Ale will be excited to hear this news. Storyline:
In their new overseas home, an American family soon finds themselves caught in the middle of a coup, and they frantically look for a safe escape in an environment where foreigners are being immediately executed.

Hopefully this will do Batman Begins's numbers.

Owen and Pierce already have a following so it requires massive publicity and advertising which Brosnan is good at and actually enjoys doing, not like DANIELA TRANSVESTA. http://screencrave.frsucrave.netdna-cdn ... -11-kc.jpg http://www.freakingnews.com/pictures/54 ... -54423.jpg

Speaking of Star Trek 2......you CAN'T redo Khan. There's only one Khan, and that's Ricardo himself. He perfected the role. If the audience wants to know about Khan, they should watch TWOK and/or Space Seed.

Tell the producers. It might be a turn off to prequel Khan.

How is this surprising everyone?

The moment a Star Trek sequel was being developed everyone though Kahn could be part of it. It was one character everyone thought they'd use.

Part of the Tan look was to show the old ideal of the body beautiful cult, tanned, etc. And probably part of Ricardo's natural look. Ricardo will always be Kahn to me, he was a outstanding actor too.

That said I can easily see Benedict as a Nietzschean, Roddenberry's ideal human / augment. A challenge for even Klingons to face in hand to hand combat.

Kirk and co have to find the SS Botany Bay first, then leave them stranded. Honestly I rather Trek reboot go where no man has gone before once or twice before pulling old favourites out the the woodwork.
