I don't know why you bother BJMDDS.

MI6 is not really an open Bond forum in the Craig related sections. Debate has been closed down. Maybe it will change in the future.

The main point is that you are not allowed to give your point of view.

Reading bj's thread, I have to say that it did appear as though you were trying to start a reasonable debate, and some of the responses were very uncalled for.

'BJ' ...........i'll say one thing for you , you certainly get a lot of responses to your posts at 'MI6'.

I thought 'Retrokitty' had a good reply to your post early in the thread.

Yes, your mate 'YOLT' got stick again, poor chap.

That poster 'Katied' .....i dont think she likes you!

Is 'Benny' actually 'Captain Nash', i wondered why he had gone quiet here.

I did like the smilie at MI6..........the one with a head banging against the wall...........i think we could do with that one here on this site as well!

Rubbish. At least one poster, Katied, came right out and said that anyone who doesn't toe the line on Craig should be banned, and I didn't see anyone arguing.

Katied sent me a nasty private message as well. As you can see, the attacks flew rapidly hoping to lock the debate thread. What I found again was the actual venom towards people with contrary views at MI6. It did not surprise me, but it is disturbing. To have a friendly cordial debate is NOT what that site is all about. This should be entertainment, not an exchange of nasty slurs, which I will NEVER lower myself to respond to in that tone. They can put down this website all they like, yet they do come here,as guests, to read what is being discussed.

I truly was good buddy, you read my actual post, and saw the reaction. Unfortunate, but it did prove my point.

YOLT should pack up and leave there as well, for the poor guy is the sacrificial anti-Craig lamb there. http://www.mi6forums.com/viewtopic.php? ... highlight=
I was stunned by the lack of resonable debate, do you think the people who post there have ulterior motives BJMDDS? They seem to want to suffocate debate thus making the site pointless and a Danny Craig fan site. Disturbing stuff.
Correct James. They showed their true colors once again and they have become pointless to contrary debate. They drove out several contrary posters over 2 years and want it to be a pure site embracing Eon's new direction with Craig. That is their choice, they should just put that in a disclaimer to new members and save themselves grief over contrary Craig views.

BJ got those attacks because of the way he presented his post, not because of his opinions. He used the DCINB tabloid format and it was bait material.
Stocks, once and for all, did my thread post warrant the visciousness it received, yes or no? If you have contrary views here, are you treated in the same manner, yes or no? Did anyone ever tell you that your head is so far up your rear you cannot see straight, yes or no? Believe me, I could get just as down and dirty with them, but I will not lower myself to their level, will you? What I am saying is that if you presented your post without the use of DCINB tabloid, you might have had a better chance. One poster was right saying that using the title "The Bourne Mimicry" (which is not an accurate title for Bond 22) was bait for posters like Katied and YOLT who keep turning a thread into one big warzone are the REAL reason your thread got locked, not because you don't like Craig. I think another disadvantage you had was that you were a known poster for making threads like that, I remember you tried convincing everyone that the film wouldn't make a hundred million at the box office. Once it became just as sucessful, you said things like "Rap wins grammys and everyone like Craig as Bond, the world has gone mad" speech which didn't help matters.

Now, if you were under a different username and posted your thread as a "I'm not comfortable with this direction, who is with me?" as opposed to "This is a fact and you're all mad" you might not have had your thread trashed by members like Katied. Your earlier reptutation carries too much baggage to be easily accepted as the next guy.

Hi.

Just to clear a few things up:

1)I'm all for free speech. But when free speech consist of nothing more than spamming every thread about Bond 22 about how much you hate Daniel Craig, then no, I don't.

2)I am FAR from the only person who is annoyed by Thrice. He's been a pimple on the butt of the MI6 forums for some time-before I was even there. I have NEVER started a s*** stirring thread-it's all down to certain people who post there.I certainly have a hard time not rising to the bait(and it IS bait) when Thrice or others post it

3)MI6 is nowhere NEAR the Craig lovefest that people make it out to be-I have NEVER said that people who don't like Daniel Craig should not post there-that's putting words in my mouth.I think certain people are outspoken where Daniel Craig is concerned but that's their deal, not mine. I like Daniel Craig as Bond *shrug* but I certainly don't think he's the second coming of Christ.

Just thought I'd say that.Flame away. :P

Welcome to the forum.

I'm a member of MI6 and to be fair to BJ he finds the topic of Craig as Bond to be something he has major issues with. I know he enjoys discussing the subject and is always fair and conscientious with his tone and style of phrasing. Surely on a Bond forum there should be a place for open debate on any Bond related issues?

After reading your posts, you’re very quick to slam and bait Brosnan fans yet any criticism of Craig and you’re straight on the defensive.

I accept that YOLT is weird and his opinions can change with the wind. Please note that he does not speak for all members who were not overjoyed with the selection of Craig as Bond and the direction of CR.

Maybe I'm just a bit biased, but I think there is plenty of room for that on MI6.

I have NEVER started a pro-ANYONE thread to disrupt threads that have nothing to do with someone/something else. It's people like Thrice who wade into threads that have nothing to do with Brosnan and start s*** stirring.Do I rise to to the bait?Sure I do.Oh and do a little more looking around..I have taken my fair share of swipes at Daniel Craig.I don't think he's perfect/the second coming/the best thing since sliced bread.
I accept that YOLT is weird and his opinions can change with the wind. Please note that he does not speak for all members who were not overjoyed with the selection of Craig as Bond and the direction of CR.

Thrice is in a minority at MI6,yes.I'm just waiting for him to change his mind again. The last time he flip flopped about liking/not liking CR he got ripped a new one.Which, given the circumstances is understandable.

I can understand his frustration when his own thread got locked after over 1000+ posts. For me, if It was a subject that I either found irritating or boring, I would just not post in it. To lock a popular thread for no substantial reason other than preventing constructive criticism of the current direction is IMO poor.

Thrice is a pr*ck and his opinion is pointless. I do not respect him on any level. He argues for the sake of arguing, and there is no real direction to his POV.
