This is so off base for a Bond film it defies logic. The premise, the casting, the morose tone, cemeteries, Cr-egg's Bond needing a 50 cent shave by a field agent who still might be Moneypenny, etc., all sets up for another DC bomb, but this time, with a Bond film. I would not bother seeing this film for FREE :!: The only 'escapism' this film will generate are the audiences rushing for the exits half way through this garbage. If this is over 2 hours long, that will be the case......exit, stage door left. Give me MI:5 next outing.

Mmmmm, salami :P

I actually really want to see Anna Karenina. They had an article about it in the most recent issue of Empire. Not sure why everyone hates Keira Knightley so much(not sure about here but I've seen her get rippwd a new one elsewhere). Hell, I even like Domino!

I love Keira Knightley and I think her own movie going up against Skyfall shouldn't be underestimated.. if it's good and gets good press, that too will detract from Bond viewers (women for example  Romance beats the Cregg. Would be the opposite if Henry Cavill was Bond, of course)

I'm really perplexed by the whole turn of events here, it really seems like this movie will turn out to be a ridiculously BORING and absolutely not-action-oriented flick... And NONE of this sounds like even remotely similar to award-winning material. They're out of their freaking minds. I have to hope this does bad, though not disastrously, at the box office. But at this point we need it to not have a good performance by any standard or they won't get the message. It's sad that this is where we're at. Pathetic, actually.

FBF and I have said this repeatedly, right FBF? The ONLY way the franchise is saved will be if it's first destroyed by Cr-egg. The rebuilding will be instantaneous and well received once they announce Henry Cavill is taking over the role and the Sony and MGM relegate Eon to cleaning the bathrooms of the movie theatres the Bond films play in. The MI:4 director with a proper outlandish, gadget driven storyline, will be what the public DEMANDS after "SKUNKFAILS" bombs like we know it will. FBF will lead the ressurrection from the west coast and it will spread throughout the world's movie theatres in 2014 :!:

This means Bond 23 has to fail both critically and financially.

First impression is that they picked someone too young....the guy may be a good actor, and it remains to be seen how he pulls the role off..........BUT i think they should of picked someone a bit older.............i mean, the guy looks like a student, surely the role is about a man who has considerable experience and knowledge of the military and firearms.

Well we will just have to wait and see.

Just to keep you people happy.....i was reading through the biography of Chris Lee on Imdb, and he apparently said that as he was somehow related to Fleming and that Lee himself reckoned he knew a lot about Bond....was the fact that he thought that Pierce Brosnan was the closest actor to what Fleming had in mind as Bond. :)

Reading the more recent posts here, gives me the impression that some of you think that 'Skyfall' is coming across as some sort of Bond film, but being made by the 'Hammer horror film company', with all this talk about castles, cemetries, gloomy locations etc.............next i'll be reading that some think that Craig is the 'Mummy'!!! :D :D

To be fair it was probably said when Pierce was Bond. I do think Pierce had the looks of what Ian intended. In fact wasn't there a early front runner who strongly resembled Pierce?

Q, I don't hate the actor, is a a talented young man althou I am not convinced his youthful looks is appropriate for introducing Q in this reboot. If he were replacing John Cleese in the Original Time line, I'd less be concerned. If this is supposed to this reboots version of not just the chatterer Q but the man behind the letter as well then I do have a problem or better put some major concerns.

Out of EA's thoughts comes the reality for Cr-egg, that being Imhotep himself, the mummy: http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/ph ... cb58762019 You can see DC fits the bill perfectly. Lace him up EA :!:
