Should Bond have a ponytail throughout the whole movie?

I watched Elvis's death with shock and horror on tv in 1977 as well, being a huge Elvis fan, and both were heavily wasted by drug abuse. Tragic, but not surprising.
Sadly it is not surprising because of her so many problems related to drug abuse... but I didn't expect it to happen now for some reason. I would not have been surprised had it happened a few years ago when she was completely wasted, but it seemed like she was trying to keep it together lately (though photos of her from the other night really don't show her in her best shape. She doesn't look wasted but she really looks like a far cry from the beautiful woman she was when she was doing well). The little info that there is so far doesn't make me hope for anything good. Police said there were no immediate signs for reason of death which means she didn't hit her head or anything in the bathtub so I'm afraid it's most likely drug related (if it's a heart attack it's still mainly due to her substance abuse). I just find it incredibly sad how people of so much talent like her, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Amy Winehouse, end up being incredibly weak human beings AND end up dying in such horrifyingly lonely circumstances.
Hendrix, Joplin, etc., it continues throughout time. Certain people cannot handle fame and they would have been served better being born with no talent, instead of being consumed by it. Cruise has led a clean life healthwise, with all of his fame and success. Most can handle it. A small percentage cannot cope and marrying a moron certainly does not keep one in a healthy mindset either.

Where's Ale? Boxoffice.com predictions do not look good for: The Cold Light Of Day (PG-13)
Action | Suspense - Apr 06, 2012

Opening Weekend: $7,000,000 [proj.] | Total Domestic Gross: $20,000,000 [pred.] "The Cold Light of Day looks like the kind of by-the-numbers action flick that gets overshadowed during its opening weekend and then makes a quit exit from theaters."

House was very good. Jeffrey Wright was impressive and better than he was in Cr & QoS.

I kept think Craig couldn't do what Wright did because Craig would want to be House or something as emotionally screwed up.

One of the best episodes of House this season, IMO. I gasped when Chase got stabbed. Looks like we're going to see the fall out from that tomorrow. Jeffrey Wright hasn't done a lot of TV shows- that is something he should reconsider,IMO.

He was good and House called him on what he did too. In one way he role was less than it is in some of his movies but he did a lot with it. Chase is probably going to be one those miraculous TV recoveries, guy gets hurt in a season finale struggles to get better for two episodes then can walk with no sign he was ever hurt.

In other news MI4 continues to whoop Bond's ass $653,123,000 total so far

It looks like Chase is walking, albeit with crutches on tomorrow night's episode.

http://movies.msn.com/paralleluniverse/ ... -universe/ I don't know where they find these spin doctor reviewers but this film will go nowhere in terms of Tobey's 3 films. Another BS character development. These clowns in Hollywood just do not get it that when it comes to superhero action films, an origin is OK to see how they became the way they are, but that's it. :cuss: Once their origin is explained, it's on to non-stop action. This Garfield the cat film  will be LUCKY to do half of what Tobey's  did........half. FBF, what say yee? I doubt MP or EA or Sweeney will bother to see this.

Silent movie-era romance The Artist was the biggest winner at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) ceremony in London’s Royal Opera House on Sunday with seven awards, including best film, adding another prestigious trophy to its growing collection just two weeks before the Oscars.

I've heard very good things about The Artist, but yet again missed out due to scheduling conflicts. Don't think it's on any more. The Watershed cinema in Bristol said it was the best attended film they'd shown in the cinema's 25-year history.

I'll live if that's the case. But I don't think that will be the case. The Superman fans who went to see Immortals will go see this one as well IMO. And they're not considering the surge in popularity Henry has had... but hey, anything can be. I might be wrong this time

Another one who is freaking 25 years old. She definitely looks like a Bond girl. FOR HENRY CAVILL, not for someone like Craig who could be HER FATHER! ANd I am also just laughing at their clearly FAKE interest for empowering women. Dear Craigster, you do not put yourself in drag to show how women should have the power and then keep casting 25 year old girls in your 007 movies to star as Bond girls. The two things do NOT go well together. Next one who tells me that was anything other than a STUPID publicity stunt gets a slap on the head. LOL

I never spew hate at Tom Cruise despite his antics because of that absurd Scientology obsession... like you said he has lead a clean life, so whatever, I don't share that at all but he never did drugs, alcohol, and the like. That is a lot better than what most of his colleagues achieve. And I think he's a REALLY good actor.

The drugs and alcohol though, I think it's MUCH worse with musicians than it is with actors... musicians especially in certain eras were ENCOURAGED to take drugs and to get drunk... the fashion isn't that anymore now but it's still an environment where those two things are much more widespread than they are in acting. That said, you are right, it's not most who don't make it but I still think it's too many who can't, especially amongst those who have particularly big talent (maybe that's the problem.. too sensitive etc). I agree it's weak people who would probably be better off having a normal life... and definitely, marrying an idiot doesn't help their case, at all.

What has happened to the BAFTA'S, D Craig didn't get a mention for Best Actor, WTF.
Don't they know he's Britains greatest living Actor ( or so I keep reading, from his Fans )
sad to see such a huge talent forgotten once again, Although I'm sure with the big success
of ( what seems to be shaping up as this generations "Goldfinger" SKYFALL ) He'll absouletly,
win it next year. _.//

And this is why Spyfall will be a Silent Movie in good old Black and White.

When Pierce did TND, he was 43/44, and he looks more like someone in his 30s. Now DC is the same age when Pierce did TND yet he looks like he's pushing 70.

That's because you can buy a place in the spotlight thanks to Babs, but you can't buy genes, FBF

Pierce is one of those people with great genes, grows old very gracefully and spent his entire life being ridiculously attractive. Craig is one who always looked unattractive, and 15 years older than his age. That's nature, and no amount of botox (which btw Craig did have, as the photos clearly show) can fix it.
