"The name's Bond. Hobo Bond."

Sometimes my sweet, you have to destroy evil to rebuild greatness. There WILL be another Bond film if SONY and MGM call the shots, NOT Eon. MGW is looking like the sad sack he is now and you were correct when you pointed out that the cruciferous one never admits any mistakes. It's part of her enabling personality. To rid us of Eon's influence over this franchise, this film MUST fail, for maintaining the status quo with the current regime is not an option. If it's not Jackman or Cavill I want this franchise to end to be perfectly honest. I am in FBF's camp on that premise. We cannot endure another decade of mistakes when two fine specimens currently exist. Who would have thought that this marvelous website we proudly represent would have been proven correct all along? When will you see MI:4? It was the best Bond film I have seen since 2002Alessandra wrote:carl stromberg wrote:My friend Big Tel has been hired to cater Skyfall because of the budget cuts. That was a great one Carl, made me laugh!
Now, as for stuff that does NOT make me laugh. OH MY GOD. That Craig photo. And an OFFICIAL photo at that. GOOD LORD!! It looks AWFUL!I am sorry Sweeney that you have to agree with us. And I'm sorry because I never really thought things would reach such a low
It's one thing to have a miscast actor, it's another to ALSO have hair and makeup do one awful job at making him look even WORSE and even LESS like James Bond than he already does. Man, this is just the lowest of the low. This movie really is starting to look as if it is WORSE than QoS. We said it, but I frankly hoped it would at worst be just as bad as QoS. Instead...
What the hell are they thinking? This is what I'd like to know. Do they even know that this is a character that has been described IN DETAIL by its creator and that said character also has a very precise style to be faithful to? Un-freaking-real. At least this guarantees they'll be done after this one. With these looks and what we've heard so far about the premise, there's no way they do well at the box office. I'm just so shocked I can't even begin to explain. My God.
This is what I'm fearing at this point. At this rate they really might manage to crash and burn the franchise and I do NOT want that to happen.I thought it was too good to be true.
On second thought the picture is very Cro-Magnon looking. Who the hell is in charge of this s**t? A child?
Out of literally dozen of stills this is the one they release? There has to be a better photo to use as a teaser. If the desired effect was to get people talking about Bond/Skyfall it has done it, except people are not talking about it in a positive light. I'm not sure the morons in charge understand what they have done.
Jesus these morons might manage to crash and burn the franchise in 2012.
BJ, I honestly don't think there's ANY way they go on with another one after this... this is seriously looking to be possibly the biggest NON James Bond flop EVER. The good news is Timothy Dalton will finally be seen like a WINNER after this is done.

But that was not a spy genre film. That was a superhero genre. In terms of spy films, MI:4 was on the money.FormerBondFan wrote:I think that honor should go to The Dark Knight.bjmdds wrote:When will you see MI:4? It was the best Bond film I have seen since 2002

I know but Chris' Batfilms have Bondian elements. Not only that, they're detective films of some sort.bjmdds wrote:But that was not a spy genre film. That was a superhero genre. They have been for a while Mazer. I'm not sure how the money is divided, and how much Sony Pictures wil be affected by this.Mazer Rackham wrote:Sony is in trouble. I wonder how much longer they will hold on to their studios.Sony sees $2.9 billion loss, new CEO warns of pain

I've been enjoying watching Sony slowly collapse on itself for years, they won the format war to lose the emerging technology battle. Smurfs saved the Pictures division is my guess, however in 2008 Quark/QOS hurt that devision which was on track for a better year. But look at how Sony Pictures is spending money it is not blowing large chunks of cash on one project. If Skyfall gets $230m as MGW said it was it will be one of the few movies they blow that much money on. Another reason why a lot of us doubted Skyfall would get $150m let alone $200m. Before all the unpleasantness with Bond being put on hold, Babs was despertly trying to get $200 as a budget and it wasn't happening. At this point a budget cut would be the best thing to happen to Bond. The Sweeney wrote:They have been for a while Mazer. This could be the start of the slow death of all technology companies that used to rule the roost from Japan.
Looking at Chris' Batfilms, they include Bondian elements. Bale in James Bond mode through tux/business suit, Bale surrounded by women (as shown in BB), gadgets, Q-like character in Morgan Freeman. The same can be said for Iron Man films. But if we count only spy films, then we shall consider MI4 the best Bond in years like BJ said.Alessandra wrote:I agree with you BJ.
