Put this together last night.
Seen as I can't stand Eva Green, NOT A CHANCE.bjmdds wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SZWuyAXV4A Eva Green will portray Lara Parker's Angelique in this film this year. I met Lara Parker at a Dark Shadows convention a few years back and Eva has some huge shoes to fill. The "Scissorhands" duo are back (Burton and Depp). Will anyone see this? The original soap opera in the late 1960s was quite popular.

I doubt she will come close to Lara Parker's portrayal and Lara was a soap opera actress and very well loved on that show by the public.Alessandra wrote:Omega wrote:Ouch! Ale beat me to the punchI just see red when I see her mentioned. I was literally OFFENDED by her portrayal of Vesper. It sucked THAT much.
This is what happen when you hire a man who is not a gentleman first. Not talking about manners per say, Connery likes to eat with his fingers, talking about attitude and how they treat people. As Bond you are going to get stupid questions and people wanting to buy you a martini shaken not stirred. This guy would tell a class of third graders to f___off.Alessandra wrote:. Her CBS colleague interviewed Daniel Craig on the red carpet. (NOTE: RED CARPET. MOVIE PROMOTION so that's what he's supposed to talk about, his freaking character). They were doing the interview and at a point she asked him "do you ever wonder What Would Bond Do?" he just said "NO" and walked away. How fitting for his lack of interest and dedication (that EON instead tries to promote. UH?)
I just find this hilariously bad. Because of his rudeness (dude, it's a red carpet, THOSE are the questions you get when you're promoting your movie on a red carpet) and because of the fact Pierce or Sir Roger or Timothy Dalton would NEVER have answered like that, they of course would have made a charming joke (or they would have just said "YES OF COURSE" like any actor promoting his character). And anyhow further proof (if any was needed) how he considers the role of Bond beneath him and how he just couldn't care less.
Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.
Craig is no McQueen that's for sure. The Sweeney wrote:Then again, didn't Connery show distain towards the press and public when Bond was mentioned to him? I recall many stories similar to what Ale mentioned here, when Connery behaved in the same manner. Although I can't remember exactly what they were. Has anyone else here read similar stuff about Connery?
Actors are supposed to behave like ambassadors, particularly on red carpet nights, but it doesn't surprise me that Craig reacted like that. I guess it fits in with the rebellious Steve McQueen image that Craig emulates - rock star attitude for ators.
I think Sean Connery was driven mad by the press over Bond during the boom years in the sixties; he can be a miserable git too.The Sweeney wrote:Then again, didn't Connery show distain towards the press and public when Bond was mentioned to him? Steve McQueen? Mate they may have botoxed Craig petulant expression to resemble McQueen that about as far as it goes. McQueen for one had a personality. The Sweeney wrote:Then again, didn't Connery show distain towards the press and public when Bond was mentioned to him? The ogre part made me laugh out so loud I can't even begin to explainbjmdds wrote:"I really want to try and give him the benefit of the doubt sometimes" Ale said. DON'T. I've said it many times that Danielle is a poor ambassador of the Bond franchise, but more importantly, he is a rotten individual, to the core, with no class, who cannot verbalize his thoughts tastefully or coherently, and is hideous to look at. To sum him up in one word: ogre. Let him be the bell ringer at Notre Dame, or Calibos in the swamp marsh in Clash Of The Titans from 1981, but not James Bond
This is what I tried to say but in a more concise and eloquent waySteve McQueen? Mate they may have botoxed Craig petulant expression to resemble McQueen that about as far as it goes. McQueen for one had a personality.
