BUT, the big Mickey Dolenz and Wings band members and Peter from Peter and Gordon will grace the Saturday night concert stage with the Beatles cover band Liverpool. It is a mob scene at this convention.

I think they saw it on the telly and said "Wow, how gripping is this, we need to do this." Never giving it a second thought. If they include it maybe Prince Harry will join the boycott.

I also have the feeling (more and more recently) they are truly pressed for time and didn't have time to really check this out properly.

Well at this point given how ignorant they were, I hope they do go ahead with it and that Prince Harry DOES join the boycott. That'll be their freaking end, finally.

That they are pressed for time is without a doubt true, as we were saying before they started filming, they were INSANELY late LAST SUMMER already. To be in the middle of filming now for something that will be released in UK & Ireland in OCTOBER is just nuts. Especially since now it comes out that they aren't going abroad and they will need a LOT more post production to insert beach and whatever exotic location image with CGI, as well as whatever other exotic location is needed, on top of all the other already included special effects. I am truly beyond perplexed.

those scene directions as photographed are hilarious (a tad unclassy but still funny). Guess more and more people are realizing this isn't exactly an up-to-par James Bond movie. And coming after the mess that was QoS, no less. We said it was going to be the exact same thing again... and it seems like it will be (or, EEEK! Even worse, given at least they DID film on location for QoS. However, the 2nd unit work for this one may be better. IF they use one that is, at this rate Bond will catch criminals just by running or riding a bicycle )

Will Bond 23 rob 007 of his licence to thrill?
according to The Express. The paper claims that director Sam Mendes wants to focus his adventure on “characterful performances” instead of the franchise’s usual action set pieces. Most strikingly of all the director, with his background in quality theatre, reportedly wants to use this focus on the talents of the cast to bag some weighty Oscar nominations for a Bond film.

In the past any award wins for the films have been limited to the technical departments instrumental to the creation of unique and groundbreaking stunts. But Mendes appears to be setting his sights higher, which raises all sorts of questions for fans of 007. An Oscar contender would surely need to be a different kind of film altogether to the usual romp packed with sexy women, car chases and fight scenes?

I've never understood the need of some diehard Bond fans to try and push for the films to get Academy Awards-especially given the last Bond film. Are they freaking joking?

Bond 23: Nothing Special doesn't deserve even a single Oscar nomination in the technical category. If it does, you may as well hire Carrot Top as Bond or Vanilla Ice. That should be a response of how stupid the Academy really is for giving some love to DC Bond film.

LOL I think that's INT. Usual indication for scenes, interior or exteriorl , day or night etc.

It's not exactly refined humor but I did have a good laugh regardless. Ever since my everyday office experience with British blokes, (and seen as I am a sports reporter, an entire sports team made of British reporters, me being the only woman), the word "Bollocks" just makes me laugh nonstop. Because of how they used it, particularly a colleague who became my mentor and with whom I am very good friends to the day... I very well remember the first time he used it and me going "what exactly does that mean used this way?" because I was a tad perplexed that was quite the funny explanation he had to give
