bjmdds wrote:It's setting up as a movie more about Dench and Fiennes and Q and MP then about Bond: The internet is already buzzing negatively: "There's no question that the franchise just won't be the same without Dench. But will fans warm to Fiennes in the role the way they have embraced John Cleese as Q? Or will the thought of the world's freedom being in the hands of Lord Voldemort be too much? Either way, it looks like this time, Chicken Little was right, because the sky really is falling in the 007 universe." http://www.worstpreviews.com/images/hea ... e22204.jpg This is NOT M :!: He is a youthful 49 and looks better than Danielle. It's nuts :!: Ale, do you like the casting for this BiZARRO Bond film :!: :?:
I very much like Ralph Fiennes but as M? WITH CRAIG AS BOND?! He would work as M with HENRY CAVILL as Bond, and even so, he'd still be Voldemort. I just don't know what the hell they're thinking. First Q, now M is also WAY younger looking and WAY better looking than Bond? Where the hell have we landed?! In an alternate universe?! This is how the casting should be: Henry Cavill plays Bond, Jeremy Northam plays M. and someone OLDER plays Q.

In other news there was an episode of the Simpsons on tonight with PIERCE being the voice of the new futuristic Simpsons house and it was not only hilarious but entirely too charming and sexy. I just gloated hearing Bart go "let's try the 007 voice!" and Marge "Ohh.. Roger Moore??" and Lisa "NO! Pierce Brosnan!" TAKE THAT Craigster, after that, they never made an episode about you, because YOU are not James Bond to the world.. you're that miscast dude who happens to play James Bond now. (I shall be done gloating now)

SkyFull will be more of a 'supporting' or co-starring role for Bond. It now appears Eon instructed Mendes to 'drown out' Cr-egg's influence in this film by making the film less about Bond and more about those around him. Just great. Another real bomb being made folks, as usual these days. FBF, trust us, this film WILL underperform BOTH CR and QOS at the box office, and naming it for any award will NOT matter in the least as far as keeping DC is concerned. Sony seems hell bent on destroying itself these days with Spiderman as well, with those creepy relatives of his, Sheen and Field, turning off the masses. Tobey has NOTHING to be worried about.

I never said anything about Bond 23 getting awarded (or nominated for that matter) would affect DC's future as Bond. My point is that even a single Oscar nomination in technical category given to Bond 23: Nothing Special is still a bad image. It's just like having DC's mug appearing in magazine covers.

If there is one James Bond actor who has his Bond movie that is the first to get an Oscar nomination since FYEO, that should be Henry or someone who is traditional (in the likes of Pierce, Sean, Rog, or even Tim) who will fill in as the 7th Bond. DC DOES NOT AND WILL NOT FIT THE BILL. I have said this many times and I will say it AGAIN: DC's BONDS AND OSCAR NOMINATIONS DO NOT MIX.

There was a UK spy report said they were filming a funeral scenes with eight flag draped caskets. Honestly first thought, Johnny English.

'supporting' role? Where do you get this from BJ?
From the emphasis and tidbits being released and the plot itself. Since when are M and Q the focal point of any Bond film? Eon is ruining this franchise daily. In Bond 23 we first meet Q? Suddenly Moneypenny is a field agent as is being surmised? What solar system is Eon living in now? Those around Bond will be as important to this film as Bond is himself and any anti-government digs that DC and Eon can throw in are ridiculous.

Oscar involvement for a Bond film is ridiculous. Eon is not worthy of any such consideration. They can try Adele, Mendes, and whoever they try to scrounge up, but a dud will be a dud no matter how much they try to prop up the ungulated platypus as Bond.

I don't know much about Roadhouse, but I hope Bond 23: Nothing Special suffers worse than any other Bonds films in history. No nominations from high profile American movie awards.

Roadhouse is a classic Razzie film FBF. Watch it on tv when it is on. It loaded up on the Razzies. Bond 23 might be another Roadhouse?
