.......hi, back from my xmas break in the Canary islands, lovely sunny weather most of time....shame everyone brings their cold and cough viruses with them on the planes though!

Anyway.......catching up with film reviews and reports for next years films...............most film critics have been meantioning the new Bat film and the Hobbit, but surprisingly not much talk on Skyfall. The one film which apparently is most eager awaited next year is Ridley Scotts 'Prometheus' , which is apparently going to scare the **** out of everyone. :)

ps: I went to the new EON SKYFALL website today..................and i learnt absolutely nothing new about the film!............whats the point of this website?

No point EA. Eon is all smoke and mirrors. How was the Bird islands? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... anaria.jpg Exactly where did you go? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... ds.svg.png Was it crowded? Planes are floating germ canisters and filthy beyond belief, I agree.

Howdy EA! I think SF will get more play as it gets closer, if it had a new Bond it would be a better buzz. Batman is expected to be a titan of the summer, Hobbit will take the fall and winter. It may say something that SF is not on peoples radar yet. I wonder if all the re-releases next year will have an affect on anything.
I do know a lot of people looking forward to Prometheus, if it gets good buzz then I'll be excited for it too but Scott bros are hit and miss.

PS I saw Craig almost quit before production began. Missed it by this much

If Prometheus is anything like Alien, it will be a movie you want to watch on an empty stomach(if you've seen Alien, you know what I'm talking about!)

Music to my ears fellow DCINBers: "This is a big weekend for both The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and War Horse. Despite a strong campaign and relentless internet buzz, Dragon Tattoo only managed to gross $32.5 million through its first seven days in theaters. For the movie to have any chance of breaking $100 million (and subsequently kick-start sequel talks), it's going to need to turn out adult audiences in droves this weekend."

Lanzarote............the Canary islands are probably the most popular winter holiday destination for British people.

As i've mentioned in the past the look Craig has been given for Bond 23 is more akin to a Norwegian North Sea Oil worker, than a British spy!

MI 4 in 14 days did worldwide:$293,692,759 with a budget of $145 million. They returned their cost to produce the film in 2 weeks. P&A costs will be taken cared of this weekend, then it's all profit for the studio. That's how you PROPERLY produce a hit.

“The sequel will be determined by a., how well it does this week and b., how well it does overseas,” says Thompson.

For its part, Sony says the studio hasn't broken stride developing the script for the planned sequel, "The Girl Who Played With Fire," the second installment in Larsson's best-selling series.

"[The film] is off to a good start and it's just going to get better with every day through the rest of the holiday season and well into the new year," Sony distribution chief Rory Bruer told TheWrap.
These Sony drones just don't get it. Pascal and "Vegg" will ruin Sony.

Just caught MI4, it's brilliant, the way Old Bonds used to be. Big scale action and a fun thrill ride for a couple of hours.
I doubt Skyfall, will be any competition.

If it's not FBF, you know what to do. We cannot tolerate another film like this in 2014.
