http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/09/1 ... 62712.html Hope and change? Oh-bama is a crook, and a dumb, very dumb, human being. From now on refer to Oh-bama as DOPE AND STRANGE.

Gotta wonder which was more appealing to the Grand Oil Party - the chance to embarrass Obama or the chance to probe a solar energy company.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I know this is a Bond site.......but i have to say that after studying the US economic situation, and its affect on the rest of the world............Obama has got to go.............the guy has been a total disaster for the US economy, and he is obviously a puppet for the rich elte.bjmdds wrote:MP, the Oh-bama's job approval in your electoral rich state is under 50%, now at 46%, with 44% disapproving. I never, ever, thought your state would be in play for the Republicans, but it might be. I hope you spread the word to eliminate this politically diseased, socialistically trained, drone from office in November 2012, just 3 days before Cr-egg's egg arrives at the theatres, supposedly. I had better not spot you on line buying a ticket for this morbid trash by Mendes.
If he gets another term in the US after the next election, then the US can kiss goodbye to any potential recovery...........maybe a good time to start learning Chinese.

Re: US Election 2012
Perry does have problems and illegal immigrants being granted college tuition benefits in Texas is WRONG; however, overall, he probably will get the nomination at this rate and hopefully the voters will realize the destruction economically Oh-bama has caused. Bush was no better in over spending but there is a RENEWED sense by the GOP to get the financial house of the USA in order. Eric Cantor and Paul Ryan are good people. I like them both. They are the rudders steering the GOP ship to calmer fiscal waters. The next President had better listen to them. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Pelosi look so bad it's not funny. MSNBC did NOT cover Oh-bama's teleprompter address either in North Carolina yesterday. They know he is toast. Hillary could be asked to run in his place if he steps down and does not run for re-election, but I doubt that scenario would play out. If you live in the USA, will you vote against Oh-bama?

That is a mess. We need cleaner energy unfortunately the truth is even after pouring money in electric cars and other solar sources are not ready. The government try to pick winders is a mistake.Kristatos wrote:Gotta wonder which was more appealing to the Grand Oil Party - the chance to embarrass Obama or the chance to probe a solar energy company.
I was watching Obama waving the bill around saying if you love me help me pass this. Honestly I rather by pass the bureaucracy and help real people out, half a trillion for what? As I was watching Obama I thought he reminded me of a mayor in over his head, a nice guy who got elected to a job he never had a clue about. The bill he is waving around and demanding to be pass is not a real bill, it does not exist except in his hand, there is nothing for anyone in congress to vote on, he seems to think we are too dumb to understand all he is doing he is a yelling rhetoric to teh people who love him. I don't know why he think we are too dumb to get that he has not plan and is making a it up to have a talking point in a tough election year. Yes the election is 14 months away and obama is doing squat until he secures his reelection. And the name of the bill he keep talking about is not the bill he wants because he and congress never submitted a real bill.
It is like a mayor who had no idea what the job entailed and now instead of fixing it he is trying get a wave going at the pall park instead of getting the city budgets under controller.
If Obama wants a stimulus that works give me and very America 5 to 10 grand , it will help real people out and not be wasted on government contractors padding the bill.
Obama has to go for the good of the country I know a true blue democrat who hates the obama stimulus 3 (or son of stimulus depending who you ask), I rember in 2004 the Dems thought Bush was so hated they could walk John Kerry in to teh white house, Kerry never had a clue and was a rich aloof jerk,. I never saw the hatred until the end of Bush's days, even then it was as great as the dems thought, but for Obama I know people who are truly scared at the direction this country is going, washington as a whole seems to be brain dead with a foot slammed on the gas. Jimmy Carter 2 is too kind. I don't knwo who we need yet, but I can't trust a dem to get the job done, I would like the real dem to come back for where ever they have gone, the Emanuels, Weiner, Wassermans, Rieds, pelosis are too awful to contemplate and have driven the dems off the cliff. jack Kennedy would not recognize the DNC of today. The Dems need Jack in the worst way.

Re: US Election 2012
I've read comments from worried Americans on political forums, that they think Obama is selling the US off to the Chinese.
When Obama came into office, wasnt he of supposed to of addressed the US debt problem?..........Well i think he has, except that he's gone and made it worse rather than better.......since he's been in office the US debt has increased massively.
Did you know the US is getting into debt by a further $6 billion a day...yes you read that right $6 billion...................yet Obama has the nerve to tell other countries to sort their finances out.
Obama is a muppet!

Re: US Election 2012
When Obama came into office, the deficit was hardly even an issue. America has been in debt practically since its inception, and nobody really cared before. This deficit hysteria is just an excuse to impose austerity measures on the rest of us while the predator class make out like bandits.English Agent wrote: When Obama came into office, wasnt he of supposed to of addressed the US debt problem?

Re: US Election 2012
Perry is a very poor orator and his illegal immigration policy of college tuition is causing him detractors. New Jersey governor Christie should really be prompted now to run. It would be his for the taking.

Wow, you changed your tune pretty fast. I seem to remember hearing that anyone who hasn't already declared by now probably isn't going to.bjmdds wrote:Perry is a very poor orator and his illegal immigration policy of college tuition is causing him detractors. Re: US Election 2012
Christie is being pushed by the head Republicans after Perry did not perform well in the debates as a speaker. Romney is a better debater than Perry and this illegal immigration issue of Perry's is causing him problems.

Re: US Election 2012
Former RNC chairman turned political pundit Michael Steele was on The Daily Show talking about Sarah Palin's comment that she would tell us at the end of this month if she was declaring or not. He said that he doesn't think she's going to run because that wouldn't leave her enough time to get her name on the ballot in all 50 states and do all the necessary campaigning for the primaries.

http://www.nypost.com/p/news/national/n ... qDJYWfk0ZM My boy Christie will decide this week. I HOPE the answer is yes. He can be arrogant, but he is a straight talker and can defend himself just fine in a debate. He is heavy set so we will see if his weight is more of an issue than the state of the economy in this country.

Michael Steele is a joke. He was thrown out of the Republican inner circle and landed a BS job as the token Republican on MSNBC. I have ZERO regard for ANYONE who is on MSNBC and the Daily Show. Stewart is a jackass and surrounds his audience with punk kids, as does Bill Maher, who cheer for them no matter what they say. Most in both audiences do not even know who Joe Biden is.Kristatos wrote:Former RNC chairman turned political pundit Michael Steele was on The Daily Show talking about Sarah Palin's comment that she would tell us at the end of this month if she was declaring or not. Re: US Election 2012
As Gov. Chris Christie embarks on a cross-country trip this week, with a centerpiece speech Tuesday night at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California, speculation about him launching a bid for the White House is at fever pitch.
The prime-time speech, along with an unhappiness with the current presidential field by many big-dollar Republican donors and a lack of a strong front-runner, fed a weekend of speculation that Christie might give in to party pressure and finally decide to run. Former first lady Nancy Reagan personally invited Christie to deliver the lecture, titled "Perspectives on Leadership," according to Bill Palatucci, a close friend of the governor’s.
"It’s a great recognition of his accomplishments so far that Nancy Reagan invited him personally," Palatucci said. "It speak volumes." To be sure, it won’t be Christie’s first speech on a prominent platform. In February, Christie addressed the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative research organization in Washington, followed by appearances at Harvard and Princeton.
Conservatives are still talking about his speech at the institute — flawless and without as much as a page of notes — in which he criticized Obama and called for reductions in federal subsidies for entitlement programs. It, too, increased the calls for a Christie presidential run.

Herman Cain wins a straw poll in Florida!?! I thought the tea party was supposed to be raciest lynch mod types
Oh well I suppsoe it makes good headline for Obama supporters to console themselves with, the majority of American by the time Obama is voted out (hopefully) will not like him because of his policies nothing to do with his skin color. The ultimate MLK experience, being judged by the content of his character and his Jimmy Carter Jr legacy.
I do like Herman Cain but he does not have the experience nessacary to be prez Obama didn't either. Perry and ROmney seem the two to choose form at this point but I can't believe how badly Perry has done and every time I see him walk I can see the signs he has real bad back trouble.
Maybe HErman can be a VP or a cabinet eve appointee because I do think he embodies the american dream and is a hell of a guy with great character. He is the kind of guy we need more of in politics.
Christy I like but I think he runs his mouth too much, in one way I say good for him in another I think he need to be reminded of his place as a servant of the people. Thinking of when he jumped down the throat of some questioning his cuting school budgets while he sent his kid to private school.
We do spend enough on our education system to have the worlds best but it another case of bureaucracy and unions keeping a poor system going for their own personal goals instead of revamping it to be competitive witht eh world. A lot of great public school teaches being hampered by crappy school systems. WHen I was in the system it was just getting the flood of half assed ex- hyppie type teachers that were in it because they couldn't do anything else. Now we have the next generation coming up and they are in some way worse the the feckless teachers I saw looking to cash in at 20 years to retire and working odd scams like products and deal to make extra bucks. ANd the principals were even worse not worth a d**n for anything but keeping themselves safe in the bureaucracy. Even with all of the bad apples that ran to teacheing as a safety net we have some great teachers who give d**n about their kids. We got to help them help our kids.

Yes, he's never held any sort of elected office. I think it's pretty much a two-horse race between Perry and Romney at this point.Dr. No wrote: I do like Herman Cain but he does not have the experience nessacary to be prez Obama didn't either.

Actually, Daily Show viewers tend to be better informed than most people. They wouldn't understand most of the jokes otherwise. And while Steele may be a buffoon, that doesn't automatically make him wrong all the time. Do you have any reason to suppose that it isn't too late to launch a Presidential run, beyond ad hominem attacks?bjmdds wrote:Michael Steele is a joke. Re: US Election 2012
I believe papers have to be filed by mid-October or else a candidate cannot run. It is still 14 months away so there is plenty of time and the main Republican supporters are ready to back him and organize quickly to get his campaign going. Someone I know has a contact in the New Jersey press corps and he was told there is a 2/1 chance in FAVOR of Christie deciding to change his mind and now run BUT he must declare NOW. With regards to John Stewart and Bill Maher, their live audiences on their sets are the same as those protesting Wall Street now. http://edition.cnn.com/2011/09/25/healt ... index.html
