bjmdds wrote:Ale, you seem to know a LOT about Henry's personal regimens. If Immortals does very well, he might lose his appetite for Bond and if Superman does well, he might want more serious roles. It will be YOUR responsibility to keep Henry yearning for the Bond role. I do not want any talk of that bow and arrow Robin Hood archer guy or Michael Fass-bendover to be the next Bond for IF the green vegetable chooses that dead flesh after Cr-egg's rotten run, I will be DONE with this franchise :!: I will not endure another decade of Bond rubbish after the pile Cr-egg shoveled. It's Jackman/Cavill or end the franchise :!: FBF, today on ABC they did a segment on comic book movies and they said "look for Star Trek 2" NEXT year :!: We need it completed and released for Thanksgiving 2012 to join the Twilight bunch and the Hobbit and bury the Cr-egg disaster and it will time time to use the 'elder wand' on his Bond career :!:

LOL! The best part is I knew about his personal regimens WAY before he spoke about those publicly 8) I have good contacts  As far as his appetite for Bond, he spoke about it at Comic Con in July and he clearly is more than enthused about it, this was well after shooting Immortals and getting the Superman role, so I don't think the box office will make any difference... he's always had a lot of admiration for the Bond lifestyle in general (it is no coincidence that he owns an Aston Martin and he explained that. It was the first expensive thing he bought with money from his acting work) so I don't think that's going to wane anytime soon, but don't worry, I am ON TOP OF THINGS with Henry :spy:

I will be done myself if Fass-bendover (LMAO awesome) is so much as considered, but I don't think he's a contender. The fanboys keep talking about him because he's the carbon copy of Craig (just a better actor than him), but it's just not going to happen. About archer guy from Robin Hood though I DO think he could be good. I have watched him on that (not finished watching yet but seen a few) and he does have that Bondian quality to himself. He's obviously nowhere near as perfect as Jackman or Cavill would be, but I'll take him over Fass-bendover ANY day. I'm really trying to think of other names but I can't come up with any good ones yet. I must watch Downton Abbey, maybe someone from there will show good qualities. My problem with the whole thing is that there really is NOBODY out there who is as perfect as Henry Cavill for the part. (or Hugh Jackman, but Henry has age on his side too).So whoever I think of, I'm like "Oh could work. But wouldn't be "perfect"".

Cavill or Jackman or we are done with this, agreed? Cavill was only 22 in 2005 so I can see Eon thinking he was too young THEN. They had the perfect Bond specimen with Jackman after Pierce was done. Cavill will be 30 in 2013 and there is NO reason not to utilize him as long as he still wants it.

I'm fine with Jackman or Cavill but the only problem is that Barbara picks Bond and we now know what her idea of a Bond/leading man is. Plus, you can easily see Craig doing a fourth one now if Skyshit does reasonably well. As it will be the first Bond for 4 years and the 50th anniversary they will ram this film down your throats this time next year.

This is why Bond 23 must CRASH and BURN, especially here in the US.

We would be better off having Bond 23 either this year or the year after next year.

A bad day for solar stocks
Solar-equipment stocks were getting pummeled after the British government proposed a 55% cut in the price it will pay for solar power. {I guess we have to stick to fossil fuels my fellow humans).

We don't have to wait for the big press conference from Eon this week. It just took place in London at their offices: http://www.careerbuilder.com/monk-e-mai ... 41076659.2

Hugh is currently starring on Broadway in Hugh Jackman - Back on Broadway.

“Well, out of all the places in the world I’ve performed, my favorite is Broadway. There’s something electric about it,” Hugh explained to Playbill.com.

He also joked about having Daniel Craig, his A Steady Rain co-star, join his show. “Hey, I invited him to come and be my understudy. I told him he could do all the matinees, but he wouldn’t go for it.”
   I think Hugh knows exactly where Craig should stand.

In other news, Mr Cavill is going to be on Jay Leno on next Monday (Nov. 7). I am eagerly awaiting the interview for FURTHER proof (Not that any is needed) that he's the perfect one to take over the Bond role.

Craig makes an impression on people, not always a positive one. Harrison Ford had an odd reaction to Craig, but then Craig is an odd fish, Brosnan, Connery, Moore, Dalton easily endeared their costars to them in big productions and small out of the way productions. Craig just doesn't have the attitude and persona leading stars have to have. Craig threw a fit when he didn't win a bafta in 2007, he threw a fit when his gift bag was missing the complementary phone from his prize bag at the CR opening, more times than not he is not engaging/cold and aloof with interviewers who are trying to polish his image.

He is a smug little man who thinks he knows it all about acting and production. He cut his dialog in Cowboys to be "more emotional", he has done the same to Bond and now they are doubling up on his emotionally driven character actor crap. Damnedest thing he goes on about telling everyone what makes a good drama/comedy/story/movies, and the dumb son of a bitch can't find/recognize a decent script if his life deepened on it.

Henry Cavill and Luke Evans talk about their training regime for Immortals... and Henry then took it up a notch or ten with Superman LOL (excuse me while I get a drink, I can't get through this otherwise... This man IS James Bond, the end.)

Perfectly stated. I think we can safely say that Henry Cavill is the EXACT OPPOSITE of the Craigster. Everyone loves him and he's incredibly humble and well-mannered. Gorgeous, well-educated.. yeah, polar opposite.

From Bond to Chiller............Danielle belongs there NOW but he an arrogant legend in his own mind, a real tawdry turnip :!: Make sure you watch Cavill on Leno next week. I wonder what Jackman's third and final dig will be against DC, UNLESS it will be getting the Bond role away from Cr-egg.

I saw a new(to me) trailer for Tin Tin(before The Rum Diary(great movie-I'll post a review in the "Last Movie You Saw Thread"). The new trailer is a little better-but really, they should have done a live action version of it instead. And without Daniel Craig, obviously!
