Oh yeah...........British newspaper stated today that Bond 23 starts shooting on the 7TH NOV, in London, i believe, and the first shots will be an action sequence involving Bond transferring across from one moving vehicle to another.

Yes 'blowfeld' ive noticed too that BO figures have been pretty poor for quite a few weeks now, even though there are some quite good films out in the marketplace!

Its a much better film than you think it would be.
Have you seen the classic Twilight Zone episode called "Steel" with Lee Marvin? It's based on it.
Bring back Bond!

I don't know why that article was so ridiculously negative toward Footloose. The movie did EXACTLY what it was expected to do on Friday and it actually way exceeded the expectations most had while it was being filmed. Per the above Variety article, it's expected to make some $200,000 less than Real Steel which is a MUCH stronger contender, so that's a huge success itself. Real Steel should make $16.3 mln, Footloose is projected at $16.1 mln. It's clear they will make a much bigger profit with Footloose than they do with most big movies since romantic comedies or this type of dance movie cost WAY less to be made. And that's why Hollywood should focus on more ideas in that field, given the money is scarce. I loved "Something Borrowed" but other than that one I think the year was really not a good one for romantic comedies in terms of ideas (They do bring in the money anyway but they could make way more if they just had some better ideas...). There have been some good comedies, but there again with a little bit more of an edge I think they could do way better than what they're currently doing.

LMAO since we can't do India let's do London with the same exact concept. WTF?

Julianne Hough is trying her hand at singing and acting. So far, she is still more known for being on DWTS and dating the Sea-Cruster than her music cd and now movie debut. It's a big leap to take. Footloose and Jackman proved what a bomb Danielle is at the box office. Surrounding him with accomplished actors in Bond 23 will not matter for it all boils down to his pugilistic puss on the silver screen and heaven forbid it will be in 3-D :!: He owns a perpetual Halloween mask daily :!:

I have now......watched it online............Lee Marvin was a bit silly to get in a ring and fight an android! :)

I used to love watching re-runs of those classic US TV shows Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits (particularly the Outer Limits).

All we get nowadays from the US is 'CSI' (forensic cop show) and its numerous spin offs.

Don't laugh..I love the original Footloose, but..it p!sses me off. Why?Because it's based on a true story(Google it) and actually has happened many times-in real life-since.

CIS ruined TV! It was so successful every other show became a police procedure drama!

Real Steel is one that caught my attention late opening weekend, there is some excitement about it around campus. But i am torn between seeing it now or waiting 3 months to see it all the extra goodies.

Maybe this is what is happening to hollywood instead of spending 40 bucks for 2 people including snacks, why not wait for the dvd/blu-ray/download/rental, and microwave some popcorn. Its kind of like holllywood priced them self out of a average night out. Me and my brothers would be sneaking in and out of theaters now, as young punks we spent a lot of time in the summer going to movies it was affordable back then. Today? I don't know, I can see the greed so obviously as the ticket prices are hiked higher and higher, doubly when they force new standards like 3d nobody really wants because they can double a tickets price.

Hollywood is killing themselves off, spending 160 million on just about any movie they make, they have to raise prices to cover the cost of them but instead of making more money they makes less because fewer people are going to the movies, fewer are buying when they hit dvd. Hollywood figures it's because of all the wrong reasons.

I root for the 30 million dollar films to pull through, but if they do a sequel is made costing over 100 million
$150 million for Bond film is about right, yeah I know more is spent advertising it, so it is for all the movies, but somthing like Bond makes sense to spen that kind of money on, CvA no, Green Lantern no, Cap America no, Thor no, ,I liked Killer Elite but they spend 70 million on it, it was never going to be a number 1 blockbuster.

Footlose did about when the derby said it would, I don't know who though it be 20 million. But I did think it was overkill having it on so many screen.

EA, ever watch this movie as a child or later on? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaHK2_68 ... re=related Linda Evans is singing but it is dubbed in. Michael Nader is also seen here. I love these 1960s beach party movies. They are so corny yet decent. I saw Frankie Avalon in Atlantic City 10 years ago.

http://chillertheatre.com/gt/gtc4.htm Chiller Theatre convention again in less than two weeks. Hopefully I can run into Richard Kiel or Caroline Munro or Lana Wood at the same restaurant I saw Adams and Ekland in and get their takes on Danielle. It wont be hard to miss Jaws though if he shows up at the same local restaurant I go to with my group and I am sure Wood would STAND OUT too :!:

You must have noticed Dolores Hart. Great film and cast, including the future Riddler on tv in the 1960s. She went religious after this film and those with Elvis :!:

Empire's review was rather more positive, if a tad pretentious.

OMG Rin Tin TIn! My childhood!! (note please: we got it here in Italy on TV in the 70s, before you think I'm some OLD LADY )

I watched Tin Tin cartoons as a child. Sure as hell don't want to see Craig mixed in with it.

LOL BJ, the 3D idea you threw out there is just SCARY. Craig playing Bond in 3D is really NOT something I want to see. Man.

If Bond 23 goes 3D, this will be not be good on our side as that B1tch will try to further attempts to corrupt the minds of the younger audience.

Let's hope there's enough movies out there that will overshadow Bond 23. We got The Avengers, the Men In Black, the Bat, the vampires, Middle Earth creatures, and possibly Kirk and his crew.

Speaking of Kirk and his crew, is there any chance that their next adventure will make it in time to hit the screens next November?

I doubt 3D is a viable option. For one they are not set up to film this way, with the short deadline conversion is the only real option for a iffy return. The studios found out this summer that 2D screens at capacity can be more valuable than 3D cinemas half full.

By 2011 is a down year for tickets sales, a trend that has many people worried.

If creeg was tintin the name should be changed to dim dim and thought the film was gonna bomb, tintin looks way too serious and the eyes and face like the reviewer states make him look lifeless, I used to read tintin comics and watch the cartoon series in the 90s when I was a kid and I loved it, you can't make tintin look lifeless and too serious, yeah tintin was serious sometimes but that's only when he was investigating and something weird went down.

If they remade snow white and the seven drawfs and added an 8th one (because hollywoods stupid like that nowdays) cregg would be perfect as the new one pouter, him and grumpy could team up and go and randomly beat up some squirrels or pick on the other drawfs because they don't give a d**n  , grumpy shows pouter what he did to scare someone off pouter looks at grumpy and pouts, better yet cregg could've been a smurf or julius ceaser (julius pouter), or darth pouter, luke pouterwalker...whoever hollywood think he should play next for no reason whatsoever.
Bond....James bond....Rest in peace (1964-2002)
