Not surprising how many do not have bly-ray. I do because it is a Ps3 too honestly I watch more MKV(s) than I ever had Blu-rays. I've only bought a hand full of blu-ray movies (the new Batmans and inception). Might be why more and more blu-ray movies are being bundled with the dvd, soon all of us will have to buy the blu-ray because they will not be selling the dvds by themselves. DVDs are easier to use everywhere I don't like blu-ray for most things because blu-ray can be a pain to load, all of the anti piracy BS they put on the disc slow down in a player but do not slow the pirates down one bit. X-Men First class was on line a good blu-ray rip almost 2 months before the movie was for sale, I know people with a PS3 the best blu-ray player out there who could not load the blu-ray disk they bought or had other problems with sound and video syncing up all because of the f'ing antipiracy protection pirates circumvented months ago.

Regarding C&A, i can't believe how badly the film performed internationally..................to put it into a perspective a cheap British comedy costing a mere few million $ has outgrossed C&A, just from its UK release only.
My friend just received a dvd copy from someone he knows of C&A EA. I will see if I can sit through it in my house without having to shut it off.

Western part of film is not too bad......sci-fi bit is very poor.

Went to see 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy film tonight....well acted film, plenty of well known British stars, but film was slow going and audience had to concentrate hard on the story.

You've got to be a fan of the book to appreciate this film, as the film is a hard slog for mainstream audiences, some people walked out.

Pierce's new movie I Don't Know How She Does It doesn't do very well. It's great that he's busy as always, but he's not getting the right stuff that is suited to his career, especially after Bond. The Matador and The Ghost Writer are the best of the lot out of his post-Bond work, but those films don't get enough recognition even though Pierce got a Golden Globe nomination for The Matador. He deserves far better than this. I hope there's a movie out there that is a turning point for Pierce.

Thanks for the heads up about Tinker Tailor, EA.

Pierce could do so much better than rom-coms with Sarah Jessica Horsefa..I mean Parker.

Cowboys and Aliens is not a bad movie there is nothing remarkable about it when all is said and done. My disappointed was Craig was not as good as he was in Casino Royale.
Maybe Casino was a fluke, it is beginning to look like it is because given the chance he is not able to bring the same intensity that made Casino so riveting to any of his other project including Bond. Brosnan was reliably good throughout his time, as was Dalton, Moore and Connery. Maybe Craig was a half-backed idea you guys claim he is.

His third movie will tell the tale, I do not think it will be a happy story given all of the trouble getting it made. I expect it will be better than Quantum but falling short of the legacy Casino demanded.

I think QoS was not particularly good, regardless of who was in it. Stick Connery in the film and I doubt it would improve much. the storyline was weak, and the direction was abysmal for most part.

A Bond actor is only as good as the material he's given to work with - hence the frustrations I have with Brozza's flicks. Stick Craig in DAD and I would have still hated it. Craig was fortunate enough to star in CR, which had a decent script and direction, IMO.

Speaking of.....
Published: 10th September 2011/
SHERLOCK star Benedict Cumberbatch is desperate to be the next James Bond.

Benedict, 35, got the bug for playing suave secret agents after starring in new movie Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.

Speaking during filming for tonight's The Jonathan Ross Show on ITV1, Benedict said he was envious of the super spy roles of Bond star Daniel Craig and Bourne Identity actor Matt Damon.

He said: "I would absolutely jump at the chance to play that kind of role. I think it would be so much fun. Technically what Matt Damon and Daniel Craig, and all the others before them, do is incredibly hard work.

"I've been lucky enough to do some quite interesting and diverse characters and roles, but I'd love to try something like that."
I'd rather Benedict be the next Doctor, however he is an actor I am a fan of in just about everything he does. He is supposed to be in the Hobbit as well.

I do not think he would do well as Bond because he looks like too much of a smart-ass.

He was great in Sherlock, but I don't see him as Bond, sorry.

The number of theaters it was in it never was going to be no. 1. I do not remember any ads for it, I did see a few ads for Craig's next horror picture. Really unimpressive, this story was done by everyone since they started making horror movies.

I Don't Know How She Does It was the biggest loser this weekend, as it barely registered with an estimated $4.5 million. Its opening was less than Sarah Jessica Parker's 2009 bomb Did You Hear About the Morgans? ($6.6 million), and also just over half of last September's You Again ($8.4 million). Distributor The Weinstein Company indicated that the audience was 80 percent female, and the movie received a "B-" CinemaScore.

I Don't Know How She Does It was another example of muddled marketing. The trailer and initial posters focused on Parker's character, but recent commercials portrayed it as an ensemble comedy by prominently featuring TV actresses Olivia Munn and Christina Hendricks. Its biggest problem, though, was its unpleasant premise: why would women want to pay to watch someone else struggle to balance work and family when they're busy doing that on a daily basis?
