Someone pointed out that he looks like he's from a Superman porn parody. I can't argue with that, look at that stare of his, he looks like he's in rape mode.

You look at Cavill as Superman and vision a 'rape' mode? I look at Danielle as Bond and see an 'ape' mode. As Dalton says to Terry Funk jr. in the worst film of 1989, Roadhouse, "opinions vary". This will please most of you...........i was reading an article in a UK tabloid newspaper today on Henry Cavill, and they were saying he was going to become a big star in the future as Superman!

Unfortunately for some of you there was no mention of Bond, or his intentions of ever playing that part, the article was about him as film star in American comic book roles.

This will please most of you...........i was reading an article in a UK tabloid newspaper today on Henry Cavill, and they were saying he was going to become a big star in the future as Superman!

I hope he doesn't become too big for Bond.

He did talk about it to Total Film. Apparently it continues to come up in interviews.

Here we see Daniel looking like a burk and Henry looking passable as Ian Fleming's alter ego.

Cavill also admitted that he’s chuffed to be another UK actor portraying an American superhero: “I’m very proud to be British and playing an iconic American superhero…it means I’m doing something right somewhere.”

He came close to landing the role of James Bond before Daniel Craig was cast; would he like another chance to slip into 007’s tux?

“That would be absolutely amazing. If they approached me on that I’d leap at the opportunity to do it. But that’s of course well away for the time being…”

Let us hope that will be the outcome. Those who were inclined to see an ape-ish looking human being pretending to be an actor in Roy Rogers Meets The Jetsons will now flock over to see real apes in the number one film of this weekend. This will prove the archaeological connection between DC at the box office and the simian interests of the moving going public. DC belonged in Franco's film, NOT Spielberg's.

Not good news for C&A.........looks like film is heading for North American total somewhere around $90 mil i'd imagine, considering the studios get some 50% of that back, then lets say $45 mil, then that is somewhat of a small in-road into the budget of $163 mil for the film. Its gonna need a helluva international gross to recover its costs. Mind you i'll think i'll see the film next week for the hell of it, then i'll be able to tell members here if it was any good.

Meanwhile Harry Pothead should go to No3 in the alltime worldwide list by the end of this weekend.

I just love him. He's so gracious about it every time it comes up. And he makes it clear that he'd love to have the chance again, without going "hire me please", which is the best way to do it. And unlike others, he DOES NOT BRAG about being the last one standing with Craig or about the fact he almost got it...

I think with what happened (provided this version of facts is accurate) she was so humiliated that well, she reacted accordingly. But if they made a book out of it, well pass the popcorn. The round of interviews alone would be, well, interesting. I don't like when private life facts are made public, let me make it clear, but I posted that because if there's one thing that disgusts me, that's cheating.

BTW, if we're talking who Craig looks like and the perfect role for him, I believe my friend Rosa and I found the perfect fit, because he DOES look a LOT like Barney Rubble from the Flintstones. I swear it's him!!!

'The Flintstones' (a brilliant American animation series)......................now thats more proof that they dont make em as good today as they did in the old days.
