*Sigh*.. apparently Amy Crac..I mean Winehouse has cancelled her European tour dates. She was acting very erratically at a concert in Serbia of all places. She's not fit to do much of anything.I keep thinking one of these days I'll see the the "Amy Winehouse found dead of overdose" headline when I go on Yahoo.

It's sad to see someone on such a downward slide. I feel bad for her.but she has to get her sh!t together.Unfortunately, I don't think that's happening any time soon.

On a postitive note-only an hour or so 'till it's officially summer(in my time zone anyway-OOPS-it's been summer for 2 hours...I was thinking they went West to East but it's East To West, apparently!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss_BmTGv43M This is the perfect songstress to sing Bond 23 with Cr-egg in the lead role. It's a take on Lady Gag-Gag meets the Eon PSA recently. In fact Danielle could fill in for the performer during the opening song.

They showed a clip of Amy Winehouses performance on TV, it was unbelievably bad.
This poor girl looks like she needs 24hr care for quite a long while, before she can make a comeback.

Read on 'MI6' site (oops), that location scouting for Bond 23 in India is being reported, probably for a chase sequence.

If so hope its better than the scene they used in Octopussy, with the Tarzan imitation.

Apparently both Amy's band and the audience were coaching her on the lyrics to Amy's own songs.Yeah, she was definitely on something.

Adele would be wonderful if she had a good ballad and Bond to work with. Ms Spears would be perfect for Daniel

The hope is that because they are fans they get what makes the series work, often times it becomes fan wank in short order. A fan like Chris Nolan taking charge of a Bond reboot/re-imagining would probably do a solid job, a fan like Mikey G Wilson...... well we all know the problems with Mikey such a shame he is the only hope for getting Bond on it's feet short of an airplane crash.
Is Mikey a fan, though? He seems just as keen on destroying Bond's legacy as his half-sister.

I think the difference with Star Trek is that, pre-Abrams, it was taken over by people whose only real qualification was being Star Trek fans. If they hadn't been writing Star Trek, they probably would have been writing Star Trek fan fiction. Whereas people like Russell T Davies, Jason Segal and Chris Nolan are A-list creative talent who could have their pick of any project they chose. That's the sort of "fan" I'm talking about, not the fanwank brigade.
Althou RTD's last Doctor Who shows were fan wankish. 6 people to pilot to TARDIS??? What rubbish! (BTW Dr Who got a mention in Carte Blache  :britflag: )

However I agree with Kirs fans who cut their teeth doing legitimate work who are then given the opportunity to work on something they love are a different matter. In the 1990's I could have been qualified to run Star Trek if I had only submitted the fan script me and mate worked on over summer!

As for fans making good on their own look at how many directors and writers are making 'James Bond' movies, tastefully done while Barbara and Michael are photocopying the Jason Bourne efforts.

Ralph Fiennes, who plays Voldemort is the star of new NBC pilot, "Awake."
I guess he is not going to be in Bond 23 then. There was another story months ago about him and Helena Bonham Carter trying for Great Expectations filming this fall. Rooney Mara Craig's co-star, she puts the girl in Girl with the Dragon Tattoo in case anybody was wondering, Rooney can not be in a few films she wanted to do becuase of the schedule of the trilogy one of the films was shooting this fall I got to believe that Craig's Bond 23 schedule is very tight any delays or screwups will hurt.
So get on with it already or stop to rethink it!

"All I can say is I've met the Bond team, I've met [director] Sam Mendes, they're all wonderful. I've auditioned for Bond. My audition was really great actually because it's so top secret, the whole Bond thing. I hadn't realized how top secret it was. I've auditioned for a lot of things before but never for something where you can't see the script, it's that secret... I auditioned with a scene from Quantum of Solace. You don’t know what role you’re going up for either, so everybody gets given a scene from a previous Bond movie.. I don’t know whether it's true or not that I'm going to be an intelligent Bond girl. I don't know at all but I'd like it!"

Should Harris land the role, she would be the third cast member behind Craig and the returning Judi Dench as M. The next casting decision fans will look forward to is the Bond villain, which was first offered to Javier Bardem. However, the actor later revealed that he was interested but hadn't accepted the role yet. Ralph Fiennes was reportedly in talks to play a different "darkly complex" villain but, so far, neither actor has been publicly confirmed.

James Bond 23 will reportedly start production in September, so casting confirmations ought to arrive in the next few months. The movie will open November 9, 2012.

Drek 23: According to reports, the opening sequence of the Daniel Craig starrer will be shot in a three-week spell at the studio, founded by veteran art director Nitin Desai.

The set constructed at the studio depicts main roads, shops, bylanes in the vicinity of the CST Terminus and also the Crawford market.

It is said that the opening sequence will start off with a chase sequence in South Mumbai. The sequence that will also have blowing up of several cars will serve as a right opening to the film.

DANIEL CRAIG's powers of persuasion are not nearly on a par with his character James Bond.

The actor has asked KINGS OF LEON to write a 007 theme on three separate occasions but each time the band knocked him back.

But frontman CALEB FOLLOWILL has confirmed that if Daniel were to have a go again, it could be fourth time lucky.

Caleb said: "I've always wanted to work with strings so that would be a good excuse to do it."

The rockers, who performed at London's Hyde Park last night, have played themselves in a film documentary about the band called Talihina Sky.

It will be released on June 25. If they ever need actors to play themselves in a future movie, Caleb and his bandmate and brother NATHAN have ideas for who they would like.

Caleb told Vue Cinema Twitter followers he would want to be played by BRAD PITT while Nathan went for Ghostbusters and Honey, I Shrunk The Kids geek RICK MORANIS.

Read more: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sh ... theme.html

Kings of Leon?WTF!?And THEY rejected him!Who the hell is Craig to try and hire a band!
