I wonder what bondnotblonde would say about Standen since he is so obsessed with the idea of Sadowitz becoming Bond.buffybond wrote:Delay Bond 23 untill 2014 replace Fugly with Clive Standen [check him out in the new Camelot as Sir Gawain] because I think Henry wont get the gig now have Dench replaced by Robert Lyndsey[yes him from My family again check him out in Hornblower as Admiral Pellow] and Honeysuckle Weeks as Moneypenny and again rebbot the series but in the way Goldeneye did,not Bond begins with a man who was nearly 40.
Imo thats the way to save the franchise because at the moment its just going down the toilet.

I think Henry WILL be able to get it, but regardless I agree Clive Standen is an excellent second choice. He's a similar type (similar to Cavill). You suggested him and I agree, he's brilliant. AND charming/good looking.

But if DC's Bond 23 is successful at the box office (especially here in the US) and/or gets even a single nomination from the Oscars, then the contingency plan shall be carry out. And this contingency plan is to massively campaign Carrot Top to replace DC to be the 7th Bond once he retires.Alessandra wrote:buffybond wrote:Delay Bond 23 untill 2014 replace Fugly with Clive Standen [check him out in the new Camelot as Sir Gawain] because I think Henry wont get the gig now have Dench replaced by Robert Lyndsey[yes him from My family again check him out in Hornblower as Admiral Pellow] and Honeysuckle Weeks as Moneypenny and again rebbot the series but in the way Goldeneye did,not Bond begins with a man who was nearly 40.

If they do cast Naomie she might do fine although going by the last two films she'll probably wish she hadn't. So Bond23 is going to be a 3 or 4 man show with everyone playing several rolls?

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Maybe Bond 23 will be a one act play in a park in London done in a theatre in the round setting. They will improvise the 2 hour script as they go along.

I rather see Twilight than DC's Bonds. If I am to see Twilight, I would have to see it with a date.bjmdds wrote:Is FBF ready for this November 18? The same year as HP to boot.
Potter has to win. Not only that....it has to be this year's top grosser, especially HERE in the US. Otherwise, it would be like the DC minions are winning.Which will open bigger? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIpeBi6SG4A vs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IL_g4yY0qnc

Say Potter does better than Bond, but isn't the top grossing movie of the year? How is that a victory for the Craigskis?FormerBondFan wrote:Potter has to win. Not only that....it has to be this year's top grosser, especially HERE in the US. Otherwise, it would be like the DC minions are winning.
