Sweeney, you pro-Cr-eggaholics remind me of what Roy Scheider said to Murray Hamilton in the 1975 Jaws:" August? The summer's over Larry. These people think you want the beaches open!" I relate it to your plight for you must come to the realization that IT'S ALL OVER FOR DANIELLE AS BOND. Eon is just going through the motions to get out his final 110 minutes as Bond and they will be rid of him. Nobody cares about a failing lead actor whose box office grosses have become HIS embarrassment. In regard to his putrid mug on 'every movie magazine' in 2012, the only place you'll find it is on the cover of MAD magazine, or possibly the post office under WANTED ads. He's done. Realize it and sleep better and once Henry Cavill takes over we can all meet at a chosen location and celebrate our new website's birth: http://www.HenryCavillmostdefinitelyISBond.comThe Sweeney wrote:Interesting reading the battles on here between Stocks, BJ, Mazer, Oscar, etc.![]()
It takes me back a few years.![]()
It's one sided at the moment, so I'll step in to help out Stocks. I think once the marketing campaign kicks in for Bond 23, and Craig's face is plastered over every movie magazine, you will see a resurgence in the popularity of Craig as Bond.
Whoever didn't like QoS will soon forget when the hype for Bond 23 starts taking momentum. It has been long enough now for general audiences (not die hard Bond fans like us lot) to forget the last Bond film, and eagerly await the next one.
Only last Sunday I read an article in The Sunday Telegraph on Craig, which said something along the lines of `arguably the best Bond ever', and this is something I often come across from journalists in popular magazines and newspapers. Whether they are just saying that to win favour with EON, or being paid by EON (even though this article was promoting Cowboys & Aliens, not Bond), I'll leave it to you anti-Craig conspiracy theorists to decide.....

It means the sales agents, exec producers, distributors have been doing their job in getting the film maximum coverage in the press...and it all comes at a cost out of the budget. Nothing to do with how good or bad the film is.katied wrote:Conspiracy...not really. But I do find it curious that such a godawful movie is getting so much press coverage.

Here's my response -
`Love to prove that, wouldn't you. Get your name in the National Geographic...'
