It did open today.Kristatos wrote:Was this an early screening? I thought it opened today. Box Office Mojo is predicting an opening weekend in the region of $45-60 million, but thinks that Finding Dory should outgross it handily.
I've been enjoying these classic too. The last movie I watched there was The Devil Rides Out. What a classic!Kristatos wrote:I've been DVRing a lot of classic Hammer and Amicus films from the Horror Channel. Just watched The Brides of Dracula today.
Christopher Lee always said it was his favourite of his Hammer films, and wanted it remade with modern special effects. I personally don't think a full remake is necessary. There are a couple of ropey effects shots in there (the giant spider in particular), but they could easily be replaced digitally, like in the remastered original series Star Trek.Capt. what a mediocre review from FBF?!FormerBondFan wrote:Saw Star Trek Beyond last night. I enjoy it, but I still prefer the original films.
Compared to the rest of the reboot, it's a little more in spirit of the Trek we know, but the reboot still have a lot of growing up to do.Omega wrote:what a mediocre review from FBF?!FormerBondFan wrote:Saw Star Trek Beyond last night. I enjoy it, but I still prefer the original films.
How was it compared with the reboot series ?

Really? Was there any feeling about the new Ceckov dying before the movie? A special mention?FormerBondFan wrote:Compared to the rest of the reboot, it's a little more in spirit of the Trek we know, but the reboot still have a lot of growing up to do.Omega wrote:what a mediocre review from FBF?!FormerBondFan wrote:Saw Star Trek Beyond last night.
