Captain America has p&a cost is $180, which is about what we think they are spending bond.
On another note it's a shame what deadline has become. No insight and no criticism, just helpful cheerleaders

We’re hearing that Disney’s/Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War cashed in a $60M-$61M Saturday. This points Civil War in the $180M-$183M vicinity for its opening weekend, which would make it the fifth highest domestic debut of all-time, beating Avengers: Age of Ultron‘s $56.5M last year. By EOD tomorrow, Civil War is poised to hit $700M worldwide, and is well on its way to profit in its theatrical run after a $250M production cost and an estimated global P&A near Ultron’s $180M.
----------Domestic: $181,791,000 26.8%
+ Foreign: $496,600,000 73.2%
= Worldwide: $678,391,000----------After 7 weekends B v S is worldwide: $865,450,133

I told you it would be the BEST film yet in that genre, and that's without the Hulk and Thor to boot
I will see it Saturday here. I still have not seen B v S on DVD yet.

Mad Max: Fury Road star Tom Hardy is reportedly set to make a cameo in Star Wars Episode VIII.
According to MakingStarWars.net, the 38-year-old actor will star as a First Order stormtrooper in the sequel to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Hardy's character will reportedly run into Finn a.k.a. FN-2187 (John Boyega), whom he surprisingly lets go after a comical sequence of events.

Disney’s Captain America: Civil War grossed $13.76 million on Tuesday to easily lead the daily box office for a fifth straight day. The blockbuster 3D superhero sequel starring Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. increased 3.5 percent over Monday’s performance. That represented an encouraging first Tuesday hold for a film with grosses of this size. In comparison, last year’s Avengers: Age of Ultron declined 1 percent on its first Tuesday to gross $13.13 million.
Captain America: Civil War passed the $200 million domestic milestone on Tuesday and has grossed $206.19 million in its first five days of release. That ranks as the fifth highest five-day start of all-time. The film is currently running 5 percent behind the $217.63 million five-day gross of Age of Ultron, 5 percent ahead of the $196.70 million five-day take of 2013’s Iron Man 3 and a very impressive 90.5 percent ahead of the $108.22 million five-day start of 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Captain America: Civil War grossed an estimated $18.8 million overseas on Tuesday. That brings the film’s current overseas total to $531.6 million and global haul to a massive $737.8 million.

Captain America 3 (make America great again
)
It's was good, very good not sure I'd give it "the best" title.
Best cgi was young RDJ, not sure how they did it.
One part that bothered me was the overly complex villain plan, thinking about it some of it makes sense but could be avoided by a few simple actions by the heroes. Makes more sense the the recent bond movies with henchmen trying to kill bond all as part of the plan the lure him some place.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I saw it last night.
There was no need for Ant-Man nor Spider-BOY nor War Machine whatsoever in this film though. It's worldwide gross is at $940,892,078 now and it has 'already' passed the S v B garbage worldwide
In regards to Spider-BOY, I don't think it will do great things nor do I think Marissa Tomei belongs as aunt May. Black Panther will only succeed as a stand alone film if he is involved with the Winter Soldier. In MCU, IMO,the Black Widow, Hawkeye, the newly introduced Black Panther, and War Machine are useless entities that they could do without.----------Deadline.com: With $296M domestically and $645M internationally, it’s the No. 2 film of the year globally and the No. 1 film of the year internationally after 19 days of release. It had a 59% domestic drop this frame from last, but differed according to the region. China pushed ahead to a running cume of $155.8M and Korea is at $60.1M. CACW is now the 4th highest grossing superhero movie of all time internationally, behind only Avengers: Age Of Ultron ($946M), The Avengers ($895M) and Iron Man 3 ($806M).

I disagree about spider boy just because Garfield was so bad this is refreshing even if aunt may was never meant to be sexy

Did this website go down for 12 hours? I could not get on to it..........Tom Hiddleston (-200) is the new betting favorite to next portray James Bond. He was +1400 back in November.........Posted May 16 2016 — 10:07 AM EDT: British bookmakers have suspended betting on the next 007 after a flurry of recent bets were placed on Tom Hiddleston. The Night Manager star has become the 2-1 favorite to succeed Daniel Crag as James Bond in recent days, and a particularly large gamble on the actor prompted bookmakers at Coral to halt betting. “There’s no smoke without fire, and following the big gamble on Tom Hiddleston in the last 24 hours, we’ve had no choice but to pull the plug on the market,” a Coral spokesperson said Sunday, according to the Guardian. “Earlier in the year there was a gamble on Idris Elba and Damian Lewis, but nothing has come close to the recent gamble on Hiddleston.” Another bookmaker, BoyleSports, also announced Sunday that it had suspended Bond betting following a surge of support for Hiddleston.............LOKI 'AIN'T' JAMES BOND

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
This talk about the next Bond that's been going on practically since 2010 doesn't go with media puff about Craig being "the best since Connery". Someone here already said it-it's like people want to get rid of him as soon as possible.
Now on Hiddleston...sorry,he may be charming but I just don't see him as Bond. He is not clasically good looking.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
The account for this dramatic increase for Hiddleston has to do with him having supposedly been spotted having meeting with Skyfall and Spectre director Sam Mendes and long time James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli. A spokesperson for BoyleSports, an Irish bookmaker, even said that we can maybe expect an official announcement that Hiddleston will be replacing Craig within "a matter of days."
The spokesperson also mentioned that things really heated up after someone from the UK placed a four-figure bet on Hiddleston to take over as Bond at 6-4 odds...........Gina • 7 hours ago
God no. He is not Bond, but a villain I could see. He is a good actor, and was good as pine, but lacks any kind of smoulder any kind of fire, any kind of darkness. Sorry I am not going by bookies. If he is Bond I will just sit it out, nothing to miss. I vote Aidan Turner as Bond has the looks and the talent, and Hiddles as the villain.

He would certainly be the "hipster" choice to play Bond as in this photo he looks as though he would be right at home selling artisanal pickles at a farmers market (sans tuxedo of course)bjmdds wrote:
Since Craig has "set the benchmark" with his blond hair and effeminate style we can expect to wait a good long while for the "Classic Bond" to return, queue FBF with Bender the robot in 3...2...1...

I'd prefer Turner too, but I think he'd be an improvement on Craig nonetheless.

Let's face it. Practically anyone would be an improvement over Craig. Between Hiddleston and Turner? Turner, obviously. Turner vs Cavill? I think he was good as a James Bond/Thomas Crown mash up in UNCLE.
But I think it's a "Superman will not be James Bond and James Bond will not be Superman" situation.

But I am not sure if it's very likely with him being Superman and everything...
Plus if Barbara wants to continue this crappy snore fest of a film making I don't see her wanting someone who plays
one of the most iconic heroes. She'll probably want another unknown,"serious" ,artsy fartsy Daniel Craig type.
P.s. Ignore the post above, had some problems with the phone.

I am EXTREMELY busy as usual. And I came on here because I saw all the bets on Bond news. Having seen The Night Manager which was VERY good, made me immediately think that they would say Hiddleston's name. And that made me laugh out loud, because MAAAAANY months ago on here, in fact almost a year ago I think, I said "I would EVEN take Tom Hiddleston as Bond to replace Daniel Craig, as long as Craig goes". And here we are.

Of course he absolutely does NOT have the James Bond look, BUT, and this is a big but, he DOES have the natural charm, the class and good manners with reporters and in interviews that are a BIG requirement for this role, and that freaking Craig didn't have in the slightest. Which is why I'll take him. AT LEAST he is a PLEASANT, CLASSY man who can conduct himself VERY well with press and who can walk and wear a tux the way James Bond would. (never mind that he does NOT look like Bond).
Now obviously, for me Bond is just and only Henry Cavill. But with all the success of his franchise, that is becoming hard to achieve. Never say never as bookmakers are STILL counting Henry in... but if not him, with all the LOUSY names I've seen circulating, I'll definitely take Hiddleston.
"Are we on coms?"
