I don't think FBF will ever make peace with Eon and Barbara Broccoli. He is the General Chang of CraigNotBond.

SHUT THE F*CK UP BJ!!!!!!!!! Are you REALLY going to give that psychotic dictator a second chance? That Babs committed one of most heinous crimes in entertainment history. You might as well add those Craig Bonds into your collection, and I might as well call you a minion. Otherwise, watch new M:Is and Kingmans instead. Leave James Bond to those rotten dogs to play with.bjmdds wrote:It's Turner time GEFBF knows it too.

Jesus FBF calm down. There's no need to say to BJ to "shut the f**k up". Honestly, where are your nerves? It's not like any of us are glad that reboot happened. Otherwise we wouldn't be here now, would we? I doubt anyone is going to add Craig movies into collection that would just be a waste of money(if you are buying DVDs).FormerBondFan wrote:SHUT THE F*CK UP BJ!!!!!!!!! Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Personally,I think it's highly debatable how much of a factor Craig is when it comes to success of his movies. They made money because they had James Bond in the title not because Craig is a God given material for a leading man. I know some people who don't even know his name they say "that blonde guy"...FormerBondFan wrote:Anybody or anything can be Bond now based on the nonsensical popularity of DC's Bond.Veronica wrote:Every time I see his picture I am shocked a guy who looks like that actually got to play James Bond. I agree!Veronica wrote:Happy Birthday Timothy! Still the most underrated Bond.
Happy birthday Dalton!
In the history of bond there are two actors who wanted to make more bond movies and they were good at it but denied the opportunity.
Then two who made too many, came back for the pay check. Maybe it's three now with Craig.
Lazenby I never know where to place. If he had not quit I'd think of his bond differently.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Craig made 4 too many and I don't think he had any joy for this role ever. He said himself he wanted to get out of it as soon as he got in. And now he would rather slash his wrists than come back. Boo hoo, poor him,has to pretend to be James Bond(pretend-because that's all he can do) for millions of dollars.Omega wrote:I agree!Veronica wrote:Happy Birthday Timothy! IMO Connery's boredom is obvious in YOLT and DAF but we all know he came back after Lazenby because they begged him too. And he did such a brilliant job before that I really can't hold it against him.
Did Moore made too many? That's up for debate really but he never seemed bored and I never had problem with his age-that's something that those who aren't his fans like to mention a lot. A charm that he has when he's 90 eats Craig any time. He also deserves credit for continuing the franchise which people didn't think it was possible without Connery at the time.
I feel Dalton is an underdog of James Bond. Some may say its Lazenby but I don't think so.
A first-time actor who is IMO the weak link of the movie that got through critical re-evaluation.It's a good movie but I wouldn't say it's best. You can't have the best Bond movie without a good lead IMO. Maybe he would have gotten better if he stayed but I guess it wasn't meant to be.
Sadly,it seems Dalton will never get the credit he deserves now when critics along with EON named Craig a 100% accurate version of Fleming's vision. Pfff, please. Dalton did gazillion times better job at being faithful to Fleming. Current crew at EON have nothing but disregard for Fleming's work and comparing Dalton and Craig which I saw a handful of times is way too big of a compliment for Craig.
As for Brosnan, well dear no.5 should have gotten the fifth movie. A nice number and DAD is a poor send off for anyone let alone for "the best since Connery" as named back then.

FBF has become unhinged over the news of Turner's EON visit. He should calm down and not fly off the handle like that. I understand his contempt for the evil one that fired Brosnan. Let's hope FBF can turn the page on her egregious mistakes about Pierce and join in on the excitement that Aidan Turner could bring to the franchise going forward, with her possibly diminished in importance with a new distributor.

I never said we wanted the reboot to happen. What I've been saying all these years is that you may well accept the idea that anybody or anything can be Bond now based on the the nonsensical popularity of DC's Bond or just the idea that James Bond is brand that bring in the audiences. This is not for US but for those minions and the brainwashed general public. And seriously, are you really going to trust Babs The B*tch again after the way she treated Pierce (especially the fact that he's been dismissed without a classic Bond other than his debut with GE, leaving him to be bashed by those minions even though he had no control over the content he was given)? You might as well be a Pro-Craig minion and buy Craig Bond DVDs. I never trust Babs and neither should you. If you don't agree with me, I think it's best for you make friends with those Pro-Craig hoodlums.Veronica wrote:Jesus FBF calm down. There's no need to say to BJ to "shut the f**k up". I'll NEVER tolerate for what that b1tch did to Pierce. NO, you can't make me BJ. I made my decision. If you support Babs again, you're support DC's Bond without even knowing it.bjmdds wrote:FBF has become unhinged over the news of Turner's EON visit. And if that psychotic dictator hired those Oscar nominated people or potentials for Craig's Bond films but not Pierce's, then it's pointless to give support to Turner. Why don't she just hire those rotten dogs for Bond and give them the same treatment she gave to Craig?

Choosing Turner after Cr-egg might show the crumb realizes she went off the rails with her new creation. Broccoli requires 'detente' with FBF going forward.FormerBondFan wrote:I'll NEVER tolerate for what that b1tch did to Pierce. NO, you can't make me BJ. I made my decision. FBF, you need to calm down. Telling people to STFU and calling them pro-Craig minions are not acceptable forum behaviour.
