Perhaps they could change the rules and let Arnie run next time around.

I'm leaning on McCain, but still the list isn't impressive. It's as if since 2000 we haven't been getting anyone good so we have to pick out the least bonehead of the group.

Craig is too working class and unattractive to be James Bond. Acting is tough not enough, Daniel.

The least idiotic of this bunch is still a sad lot. Then we got to combine two of these idiots to make a running ticket. A lot of people are going to be holding there noses to vote Nov 08.

McCain has a lot going for him, is he really too old now? Thinking back our past presidents seemed like sour old men. Only been since Clinton and Bush that youth became a issue. FDR would never stand a chance nowadays.

How on earth did George Bush beat John Mcain to get the nomination? Does it come down to how much money you have?

Bush Sr. was the vice president from 1980-1988, then he ran the show from 1988-1992, for a total of 12 years in charge of the executive branch of the US government. Then, Billy boy Clinton for 8 years, not 4, only because of the fake stock market boom from 1995-1999, which came crashing down after he left the office. Now, Bush jr. for 8 years. I, for one, have had enough of the Clinton's and the Bush's for good. NO WAY do I want Hillary as my president. The woman is power hungry and uses polling to decide what to do as an elected official. She is as corrupt as they come with her husband(HA!) Bill and every time I see him hug her on stage as a loving couple I want to scream. Bill protested against the USA during Vietnam and became Commander in Chief of the US armed forces! The field of choices is lacking,no doubt about it, but Guiliani has the best chance of winning on the Republican side, yet he is socially liberal and weak on immigration reform, but strong on anti-terrorism. This campaign will be a comedy of errors with this group but the outcome is serious. Hillary has only a list of complaints, with no solutions to offer, and only cares about money. Big Bill pardoned March Rich his last day as president, and Rich's wife donated $500,000 to the Clinton library. He also pardoned a drug dealer the last day, and Hillary's brother received $300,000, which he later returned, once the truth came out, supposedly. I hope my fellow Americans see through the fraud of Hillary Clinton, for she would be a HORRIBLE Commander and chief, as well as a president.

As a Non-American, I feel it is wrong for me to vote as I do not know all the candidates well enough. I think a black President would be a brave choice, but if he his good enough, he deserves his chance like anyone else.

Colin Powell, a definite yes. He has military experience and is a decent individual. Barack Hussein Obama? NO WAY. He has limited experience in the Senate, NO military experience at all, smokes too many cigarettes yet is pushing for an unexplained funded socialized health care system, and would be all wrong for the USA, black or not. Do all of you UK posters like socialized medicine? Do people wait months for treatment and surgery?

I think it's good that we adopt a free Health care system. The NHS is something to be proud off in our country and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I have private Healthcare through my work, but it should take nothing away from the National Health Service which does a superb job IMO.

There are waiting lists for some non-urgent procedures, but these tales of having to wait 3 months to see a doctor are just scare stories put about by the greedy insurance industry.

Are you telling me it works well, with limited waiting for appointments? How much tax does the average person in the UK pay per year for this privilege?

Compared to the US, I'm not sure, but I wouldn't want a situation in the UK where we refuse someone medical care because they can't afford it.

All the political parties in the UK believe in the NHS, and the Conservative party will base their strategic election manifesto with the NHS at the centre of this.

Slightly less that the average person in the US (source). The US government prefers to give its tax revenue to the Pentagon.

Advocating privatisation of the UK NHS would be political suicide for the main British political parties.

The main problem with the NHS is that you will get expensive treatments and drugs in one city, but not in another as different areas have their own budgets.

It's impossible to get a free dentist now though.

People in Scotland get everything for free subsidised by the English taxpayer. :(
