They had real Bond for close to 40 years most grew up watching the movies. just like the kingsman speech of what a gentleman is, it seems out dated to a punk kid whos mom is stuck in a bad situation and he has a dead end life in front to him but it matters, there is a reason for the standard. may seem refreshing to have Bond piss on the trademark drink by saying do I look like I give a d**n. But there was a reason Bond behaved like he did for 5 actors.Kristatos wrote:In their eyes, real Bond is trashy, pulpy and not at all the sort of thing that respectable people ought to be wasting their time on. Which is all true, of course, but they make it out to be a bad thing.Veronica wrote:That kind of makes sense...but it's just...don't critics know what REAL Bond is like?
It's kind of like goring up in a town where everyone works in a factory building hand crafted cars, but their kids want to drive fords.
