Have you visited that website that caters for fans of Thunderball?

I think its called 'Thunderball Obsessional' ?

Yes I love Thunderball and I know about that site, nice one!
Now that is what i call a bloody good Bond film..........unfortunately
its one of only 2 Bonds i havn't seen on the big screen.
Back in 1965/66 during its release it must of amazed the audiences,
with Connery being so cool and the spectacular underwater action
sequences.

People are saying that Bourne is the spy thing of the present.

True, the films are very popular in these times.......but will there be
any more.

A BBC poll run recently questioned who was more popular, Bond or Bourne..........and the result was roughly 66% voted Bond to 33% Bourne,
and i'am sure the gap would of been even wider if this poll had been started at the release of a Bond film rather than a Bourne film.

People here say that Bond copies Bourne.........there may be similar tones
say between CR and a Bourne movie, but generally they are two different
types of beast. Bond does not copy Bourne.

An email by someone to the BBC hit the nail on the head...........have you
ever heard anyone say they wanted to be Bourne..no........but countless
people have said they wanted to be Bond.

Despite the temporary popularity of other various spy/action films they only have a short lifespan.

EA :D
The BBC is a Craig/Eon based entity from the UK. Of course that poll would show those results. The same poll in the USA would be interesting, since Bond was always number one here. 'Have you ever heard anyone say they wanted to be Daniel Craig? No. But countless people have said they wanted to be Connery,Lazenby,Moore,Dalton, and Brosnan'. That is the difference.

It is a simple question, with a simple answer. Who does NASH think is the least attractive of the 6 actors playing Bond? A 2 word answer is all that is required.

Well I wasn't comfortable answering the question as asked. But for me Dalton would be the least attractive of the Bond actors. Loved him as Bond like all of the lead Bond actors. But if I had to pick one I'd say Tim.
Sorry Timbo.

The five real Bonds are leading men type, and not many people can be them. Craig is an everyman type who is not handsome. Anyone can be Bond now.

I thought everyone agreed that Craig was the ugliest Bond. That's a main focus of the re-imagining, to change Bond from a male model type, is it not?

This is many people's idea of Bond now, Mr Bjmdds. It's strange that we are seen as mad in not accepting it.

But maybe he didn't have quite the natural charisma of Connery and Moore, I don't know.

OK. I now have the answer from you I have been waiting for Nash. Let us understand your perspective. You really find Dalton the least attractive of all of the Bond actors? You actually think Daniel Craig is better looking than Timothy Dalton? I find this fascinating and maybe those who accept Craig as Bond with open arms really do not care how Bond looks anymore and have deemed that point irrelevant. I find it a no contest between the two, with Craig losing the comparison.

Admit any poll by the BBC will have Bond winning popularity over Bourne in 2007. They are biased towards their own product and the respondents will be overwhelmingly British, as opposed to American,Russian, etc.

I cannot figure it out Captain. It makes no sense to me. Grunge over suave, and this sells as Bond in 2007?

How Dalton can be considered the least attractive Bond is puzzling indeed, 007.

Not everything is based on links Nash. My comment was in opposition to Arthur Brain's comment on page 80 whereby he stated a person's comment to the BBC.

BOND sells, NOT CRAIG
The reboot is a risky area, did Eon need to do it? NO. Did this confuse alot of people? YES.
The Bond character will always be anchored in the values of the 60s

Seriously what is it with you. I don't care that you don't like Daniel Craig.
I love it though that your world has been turned upside down by Eons new Bond and the direction the series has taken.
But as for wasting my time with stuff like the above forget it.
