Do we have a avatar submission thread, as I would like to nominate this for future avatar treatment:

As for Bond chasing the Oscars, I wish the films would just concentrate on being Bond films.

Twitter is like a forum thread. I never got involved with Twitter personally. Is the meltdown over MP? Have you cooled off and regrouped?

Yeah.. it was stupid fandom(not Bond, suprisingly!)-related cr@p.

Where could we put the avatar submission thread? Maybe in the fan art section?

It's the Hannibal fandom..Hannibal fans want the show to succeed, I understand that. But there are fans who tweet reminders a zillion times a day on Friday, the day it airs, reminding people to watch, and to rewatch, etc. Those tweets get retweeted.A zillion times. It gets to where my Twitter timeline is nothing but retweets. I get.. searches for a word and settles on "Fed up" with it. And some people fans organize fan events, but they're done without much advance notice(like 3 or 4 days).

As an example... I couldn't do an all day rewatch because it was on my birthday.Plus, I wouldn't want to spend an entire Sunday watching the first season of Hannibal. IMO it's a waste of time.

Well helllllllllllllllllllllllo :!: Been busy as usual? Any feelings on the sabotaging of Cavill's film by the crummy actors that have been cast to surround him? Eisenberg  Affleck  Do you have any knowledge of why Cr-egg's career is all but done outside of Bond, except for some lawyer trash film that will open and close in 3 weekends if it ever gets made?

@Omega Hannibal's ratings were up quite a bit from last week!   So there is that. I've got to the point where I just scroll by the annoying stuff on Twitter. Yes, it's annoying, but as you say, there's nothing to be done.

Beach Blanket Bingo is on tv. What a style of movies were made in the 1960s.

Helloooo!! I actually think both Affleck and Eisenberg are great choices, with acting styles that VERY well mesh with Cavill's.
LOL well what can I say about the Craigster... there are certain pieces of "news" going around Hollywood that don't exactly make him leading man image material, if you know what I mean. Google him and Sienna Miller. And another few things, too.

I want to get started on the series but hesitate to get too involved with another show.

Vague recollection of the movies should I bother with them before the series?

@ Omega: I'd watch(in order) Manhunter,Red Dragon(the same story as Manhunter, based on Thomas Harris' book Red Dragon.) Manhunter was made in 1986-and looks it. Red Dragon is an OK movie. Silence of The Lambs,(of course)and don't bother with Hannibal or Hannibal Rising.

Definitely start watching the show-you can catch up on Season 1 and I think Season 2 on Amazon Prime. S2 Episode 3 just aired last night.
