Not just that. It's about increasing his reputation as an actor and that he is not defined by just James Bond, especially when it comes to action roles.
That's what I just said. :)

I hope Pierce has a well made film that garners attention to his skill as an actor as well as offering a new series for spy movie fans.

I'm not sure what kind of box office his name alone is capable of drawing. Far better for him to make a great movie that speaks for itself maybe wins awards than try to compete with 007 movies that automatically make $600 to $800 million no question.

I think there will be some people who will be drawn in by the promise of seeing Pierce's return to the spy genre (in fact I know there will, because most of us here are in that category), but I think the era of actors being able to "open" a movie through name recognition alone are over. Will Smith and Johnny Depp were perhaps the last genuine movie stars in that respect, but both of those have had high-profile flops in the last year or two.

This would depend on how well his upcoming movies do critically.

I don't think he would make movies to win awards or at least get nominations.....something the b1tch does nowadays. But I do hope they don't fall under radar, and he's been underrated for TOO LONG already ever since after GE.

I think it's far easier for Pierce to make a critically well received masterpiece so to speak than try to match the 00$ franchise pound per pound. People view of him has deepened with his roles since his last 007 outing in 2002.

Pierce doesn't make film for money like the b1tch does. All the b1tch cares about is power.
People view of him has deepened with his roles since his last 007 outing in 2002.
The minions have bashed Pierce ever since after dismissed by EON, and one of them went as far as considering him as worst actor in the world, even worse than Fat Seagal.

Even after Bond, his talents are still being underused, and the very good ones he did, such as The Matador and The Ghost Writer, were under radar. He may have some interesting choices with Mamma Mia and Percy Jackson, but in the end, the reviews for both of those films weren't that great. His return to TV with Stephen King's Bags of Bones was no different.

I have never been a fan of Brosnan as a Bond or actor in general, but I was genuinely surprised by him in Bag Of Bones.

It would have been a bit tough to be surprised by Brosnan if I hadn't watched it.

But seriously, i've seen my share of Brosnan's films/tv mini series, and Bag Of Bones featured his best performance. Maybe his own tragedies helped give his performance and extra depth, but it's his best performance by far (imo).

I personally thought Brosnan's best performance was in Butterfly On A Wheel.

I still think Cr-egg's best work is behind a cage door in the primate section of the Bronx zoo :!: http://animalliberationfront.com/Saints ... aCage2.jpg

Daniel Craig hits the stage to present at the 2014 Producers Guild of America Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 19) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 45-year-old actor, who wore Tom Ford, met up on stage with producer David Picker to present an award to a lucky recipient at the show. http://cdn04.cdn.justjared.com/wp-conte ... 014-01.jpg http://cdn03.cdn.justjared.com/wp-conte ... 014-05.jpg http://cdn02.cdn.justjared.com/wp-conte ... 014-08.jpg Tell this is not the most uncharismatic stooge in Hollywood insulting Pierce Brosnan and still portraying James Bond :!: FBF, your thoughts? Nicholas Hoult should stay from the Bond franchise since he has darker hair and the height of 6'2''. Babs screwed Pierce over so she should consider anyone but Hoult along with other tall and dark-haired actors.

"Nicholas has been building up quite the reputation in recent years and he is proving that he has what it takes to mix it with the best in Hollywood. By the time Daniel Craig does decide to move on from James Bond, Nicholas Hoult will have come into his own and will be approaching the perfect age to play the character. Add the fact that he is English into the mix and Nicholas Hoult could easily be a future James Bond." FBF, does this threaten your predictions for Gold Dust et al as Bond with this guy mentioned? http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BM ... SY720_.jpg I wonder if Ale now feels threatened with Cavill competing against this guy for a potential Bond portrayal after the 'egg rots out of the role in 4 years. http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BM ... Yes, this does threaten my predictions on future Bonds are not tall and dark-haired. Based on the way Pierce was treated and the fact that SF got recognition and success in a nonsensical way, Nick should just stay away from Bond. Period. We rebels should not support James Bond anymore. He's dead as a zombie on steroids, and Drakes knows it. Support Pierce's upcoming actioners instead or even Tim as the new Alfred (if you're up for Ben's Bat).

I'm going to go on record now as saying Jamie Dornan will be the next Bond, because of his role in 50 Shades of Grey, since that's the kind of thing that gets middle aged women like Babs excited.
