The books writer signed a new deal with HBO and the rating for season 2 were some of the best in HBO history!

Finished season 2 . Left with a ton of questions feels like there should be extended shows to fill in all the blanks

I'm only at my parents' house(where the Blu Ray player is) every other weekend so I've been geting through the slowly but surely. Next time I'm home I want to marathon the second season(or at least part of it). If a show's good, it's worth it. I watched the whole second season of Rome in one sitting.

That's why I'm glad for the appendixes in the books;there's an interactive menu on the Blu Rays which helps.

Just started reading the 5th Game Of Thrones book(A Dance With Dragons) 100-odd pages read. It is a LONG book. The last GOT book didn't take me that long to read(I read on the bus,at the gym and sometimes at Starbucks).

Does the interactive menus really help? I've been trying t figure out what it was there is no good description on the packaging.
Gave my season one and two to my parents and they love, glad I didn't have to watch the orgy scenes with them :| they are recording season 3 for me so thats good.

I still feel season two was too short and most of the characters Im missing half their story.

My dad, who is 70 something, and has read all the books loves the show but says "It's pornographic!". I'm not a prude, but I have to agree with him!

Of the things I want to be in the same room with my parents for the Game of Thrones doggy style marathon is not one of them  It's good story regardless just that sometimes it's too explicit.

Part of my problem keeping up the the series is I can't keep up with all the names, I know the characters to see them, but the name, "so and so goes to the wall" means nothing.
Of the surprises in the first two series the two least likable characters Tyrion Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen are the most likable and compelling of the show. I didn't hate Daenerys it was her character was so weak and less likeable because of her brother. Oh and Arya Stark but was was a firecracker from show 1, but those are the three main character I care about.

Peter Dinklage is just so damned cool in the show. I'd let him play Bond if he wanted. :007:

BTW Valar Morghulis is like the ultimate forum name.

Great minds think alike-Tyrion, Khaleesi (heh!) and Arya are my favorite characters too.

LOL can you imagine the backlash at the fanboy sites if Peter Dinklage became Bond? "Little people can't play Bond!
