http://www.billboard.com/song/adele/sky ... l/30683172 Gee wiz, the monotone dirge is nothing of nothing ( way behind Gangnam Style again, as predicted) , as will be the film once people get over their false hyped thrills of finally seeing MP and Q returning, both unrecognizable and outright miscast, which will start tomorrow with the return of the vampires. Adele's song is nowhere, and fading huge for someone of her supposed reputation in the world of pop music. It got more people to the theaters, once, but it just won't be any huge hit for her, and it will sully her reputation a bit as she explores motherhood for the next 2 years. According to Yahoo! Music’s Paul Grein, Adele’s “Skyfall,” “has a good chance of becoming the first Bond theme song to win an Oscar.” Thus far three previous Bond themes have received Academy Award nominations for best song, including Paul McCartney & Wings “Live And Let Die,” for the 1973 movie of the same name; “Nobody Does It Better,” which Carly Simon recorded for the 1977 movie The Spy Who Loved Me; and “For Your Eyes Only,” which Sheena Easton recorded for the 1981 movie of the same name." (Paul Grein must be snorting crack cocaine and it is this ridiculous mindset that causes rational people to scoff at these ludicrous suppositions, right FBF?)

If it plays out that way, it'd be an improvement over Quantum, which had a 60 percent falloff in weekend 2.bjmdds wrote:The descent begins: Forecast (Nov. 16-18)

After loading the link I can see the photo in your post. I can only guess it's because the picture is in my browsers cache now.

Based on one of the links BJ shared:
http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/mo ... 1206.story
I think we can expect some behind-the-scenes friction between Eon and MGM-Sony concerning timing of Bond 24. We've already had some signs of that (Sony saying 2014, Barbara Broccoli saying, in effect, not so fast). This story reinforces that.

It was showing 5 earlier on. The point is its been a few weeks now and the song is still in the top 10.bjmdds wrote:No it's number 6 there and behind Gangnam Style Sweeney. The Sweeney wrote:Wrong BJ. Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
No, the point is it NEVER even hit number 1 in your UK and having the so-called songstress of the decade falling in the rankings is not what she wanted, or Eon either. Gangnam Style has been out a long time and it is higher in the rankings than Adele's dirge. That sums it all up. On Billboard it is only "33" on the HOT 100 songs
Summit Entertainment's The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 grossed a strong $30.4 million in Thursday night and midnight runs at the domestic box office, marking a healthy start for the final film in the blockbuster vampire franchise.

How does Adele's song compare to any other song in the Bond franchise, BJ? The most successful song in the franchise perhaps?bjmdds wrote:No, the point is it NEVER even hit number 1 in your UK and having the so-called songstress of the decade falling in the rankings is not what she wanted, or Eon either. Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
It is? Bassey does not count? Thunderball was immensely better, as was LALD and several others. I am comparing it to Adele's monster hits. It falls FLAT there, doesn't it? Gangnam Style outdoes Adele's Bond. "Shocking
........positively shocking
