Interesting that Skyfall knocked Twiglet off the top when it's released before Twiglet. Surely it should be the other way around?

It's amusing how they're constantly trying to make a dollar out of fifty cents.

HObbit knocked Tween down with out it Tween would probably still be # 1. Tween was #1 there since October 1st, skyfall was indirect competition for weeks and three days before it releases it spikes to 31%, the hobbit went on sale yesterday and was domination with 33%, Tween fell to 28%,

But this in fandango's sales number we don't know what 100% of their sales means or what percent of the market they sell. From what looked up it is a small percentage with most still buying at the theaters .

All we know is the pieces to their pie, judging by the past movie spyfall isn't going to be a dark knight, avengers, Tween, Hobbit big in the usa, whose movies will dominate the fandango sales 90% the week of release.

51% of people surveyed by fandango or somebody say Tween is perfect date night movie that's got to have a impact next weekend on all the movies out.

Who else want to get in on the game? Mazer? Kirs?
Opening weekend game
Estimates:
Napoleon Solo & Omega $65-70 million

OK Fandango since 2008 has bought up contracts and expanded a lot. I'm not saying ti not going to be a lot but doubling QOS may not be a huge as Fandango wants everyone to believe. Looking to fandango it's kind of incompetent company with great PR, it does control 70% of online sales but online sales are small percentage of total sales. I don't know what to think about all the numbers they release, i Think their numbers can indicate trends, I always had the impression they were bigger than there are and their numbers were like the 40% of the tickets sold. They aren't even selling to half the theaters getting Spyfall
Total number of movie screens Fandango sells for 15,000
Number of theaters Fandango sells tickets for 1,300
here are fandango top 5 list of percentage of opening weekends.
Fandango's share of all domestic ticket sales for “The Hunger Games” – which took in a projected domestic box office of $155 million* - reshapes Fandango’s list of top 5 shares of opening weekends. The new record-breaker list is as follows:
1."The Hunger Games” (2012) – 22% 4. million something
2. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2" (2011) - 19% 4 million
3. “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” (2009) – 18% little over 3 million
4. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1” (2010) - 17% 2 almost 3 million
5. “Sex and the City” (2008) - 16% a little over one million
Using BO MOJO ticket numbers it is 4 million tickets sold is the record this year. They didn't have any updates over he summer. It seem more girl friendly movie sell big with them .

Further Bond figures:-

Skyfall after first 2 workdays this week (ie end of Tuesday) had racked up $320 mil internationally.

UK tally was $91.9 mil, making it top grossing film of 2012........so far.

Skyfall cost $210 mil to make. DC got an incredible $17 mil to star in film.

The tube train crash was done for real, and cost $3mil to shoot.

It happened before. But the south is more a part of the US now than is was back in those days, for most of its existence the federal government was useless to 90% of the county it was up to states to defend borders and citizens.
Aside from slavery which was not reason given for the war at the start of the Civil War, it was primary economic reasons behind the succession.

To this day a slot of southern states feel used and mistreated by the northern states that make up the power base of the union. A tremendous amount of southern resources go to the north to heat homes and other similar necessities. Look up a few blogs from Louisianan during the BP oil disaster when the feds were messing up big time. Lots of resentment there for the wealth and resources being take out of their state which has a high poverty rate, when if it stayed there it be better incomes and lower fuel cost.

Since 1865 the rule is once a state joins they can't ever leave, Hawaii is a place we as a nation seriously wronged, we wronged the Indian nations too.

Bottom line I don't think any states except a few not part of the Continental United States will make any movement to succeed, the united states as an idea, and as a government works for more people than it fails.

The maps show what a wonder it is. Population centers tend to vote one way and the rest of the nation the other.

IMO Obama will continue to agitate a wide base of people angry at his sweeping use of power, it a lot of the country that does not agree with him. If Bill Clinton can sit him don and talk some sense in to him we might get a better president than we got in the first term. IMO Obama is his way or no way, its not how America works (its how America can be but not how it works), Bill should explain you lost the support you had unanimously and now have to govern like a man of the people not a guy with an agenda.

Give me 80 with inflation it should beat QOS. I Hope it fails but it probably wont. I doubt it will break 200 seems a big number for a Bond.

We may have to cut them off if they keep going the way they are going. Debt Crazy there, they are going to raise taxes but I bet all those good rich liberal people who want me to pay more will misplace their check books when the time comes.
California, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other territories might be better on their own. For the most par the continuous US is too comfortable as a Union of States to ruin that. Imagine having border crossing at every state! It wouldn't be American any more..

They would probably have passport free travel like parts of the EU, the Scandinavian states etc. Or maybe they could introduce a visa system to visit California for the rest of the US. :)

Big superstates are the fashion now with China, the EU, US etc. I think the World will end up like 1984.

As if Alabama would go along with that, they would wall off their damned stated and put the TSA to shame frisking people who tired to enter. Number 49 and proud for a reason

Hell they might go to war with Mississippi if it were up to them.

Very latest UK box office news.....as of end of NOV 7TH.........SKYFALL had made £59.7 mil ($95.4 mil).........placing it 9th on the alltime list. Looks set to pass 2 LOTR films in a handful of days as well.
Can Bond beat Avatar which has the UK record at around some £94 mil?

Los Angeles Times is giving out an estimate of $75 million for opening weekend in the U.S.:

http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/en ... 2981.story

I saw it today at a 10:05 a.m. showing. Not many people there but it's not officially open and that's awfully early.
