The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
*Sigh* I'm not at all happy....I was rooting for Romney to win...I said on my Facebook that I wanted him to win and left it at that. I was worried about being unfriended. Which is why I waited until *after* he lost to say it!

Health=wealth. That is all that matters. The USA is in big trouble. Oh-bama got 10 million FEWER votes than in 2008 and still wonThe Sweeney wrote:So Craig's Bond is busy breaking BO records, and Obama wins for a 2nd term.
BJ, my thoughts are with you. This must be bad times for you.
Never mind, there's a new Star Wars film to look forward to.......

They haven't finished counting the ballots yet. There are probably another 5-8 million to go and Obama will get more than half. Lower total than '08, but higher than any other candidate in history. More importantly, more than Mitt Romney.

Apparently Daniel Craig is pretending that he thought about leaving the Bond franchise
:

Why is he still pretending that he is some great cool actor who is making a few Bond films. He has nothing else to do so will keep making his awful Bond films.Meanwhile, Daniel Craig appears to have been ruffling a few feathers by claiming that he’d been trying to quit as Bond ever since he agreed to it.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, he said: "I’ve been trying to get out of this from the very moment I got into it."
And then he adds: "But they won’t let me go, and I’ve agreed to do a couple more, but let’s see how this one does, because business is business and if the [bleep] goes down, I’ve got a contract that somebody will happily wipe their a** with."
Bring back Bond!

How it higher than any candidate in history whene 2008 is bigger?Gala Brand wrote:They haven't finished counting the ballots yet. I don't thing the winning count means as much because the margin for victory is so thin. America in increasingly divided, and its going to get more intense

Fandango has two things about skyfall
the other piece of news is it accounts for 31% of todays sales, but is not #1. The hobbit is taking that one.
I'd say $65 to 70 million if fandango means anything.
Not sure what this indicates or how much QOS sold on fandango 4 years ago.Fandango today is reporting the Sony/MGM movie is selling twice as many tickets as its predecessor, 2008′s Quantum Of Solace, sold at the same point in the film’s sales cycle.
the other piece of news is it accounts for 31% of todays sales, but is not #1. The hobbit is taking that one.
Guess we are down to last call for opening weekend guess."The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" raced to the top of the sales charts on its first day of availability at online ticket seller Fandango.
With 33 percent of the total sales on Fandango Wednesday, it knocked "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2" out of the number one spot it has held since October 1, when those tickets first went on sale. Tickets to the "Twilght" finale accounted for 28 percent of those sold, putting it in third.
"Skyfall," the James Bond movie opening on Friday was No. 2, with 31 percent of the tickets sold Wednesday.
I'd say $65 to 70 million if fandango means anything.

What a strange thing to day I think he is saying his contract is toiler paper if the business isn't good.carl stromberg wrote:Apparently Daniel Craig is pretending that he thought about leaving the Bond franchise:

I'll also go with $65 million to $70 million. I'm going strictly on anecdotal evidence. I could be way off.Omega wrote:Fandango has two things about skyfallNot sure what this indicates or how much QOS sold on fandango 4 years ago.Fandango today is reporting the Sony/MGM movie is selling twice as many tickets as its predecessor, 2008′s Quantum Of Solace, sold at the same point in the film’s sales cycle.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
At this point TDKR and avengers was 91% 87% of ticket sales it's not going to be over $100 million IMO.
I wish Fandango would speak English. Double QOS sales at this point what is that? Were they a big seller that weekend? Probably why they'll never say fandango sold 200 thousand over a 20 million weekend.

Who didn't see this one coming they couldn't be more predictable if they tried. QOS was supposed Oscar material too. I doubt it will get much traction with so many other more worthy candidates up for consideration.Napoleon Solo wrote:Eon and Sony pressing to get Skyfall a Best Picture nomination

Hey does anyone know if Spider-man is going to have free tickets with? The best buy ad mentions the reissued Bonds and their exclusives has free tickets. Spider doesn't. I really thought it would.
