Jack Ryan is having a reboot so if The Hunt of the Red October is to be remade, have Pierce in it.

Red October is a classic. A remake is not needed.

Would Pierce be in Seannery's role?

Yep. But like BJ said, the original is good enough. Plus, the Cold War is over.

The best reboots are the Bat, Hulk, Star Trek, and Sherlock Holmes.

I don't think Sherlock Holmes was a reboot and there have been so many different movie and tv adaptions

I remember watching an episode of the 1984's Sherlock Holmes in my English class back in high school 10 years ago, and that episode is titled The Adventure of the Speckled Band. I did enjoy watching that.

The BBC rebooted Sherlock Holmes recently, and CBS(US TV network) did as well, with a female Watson,Not as bad as it sounds,I assure you!

Looks unusual to have a female Watson, but hey....anything is preferable over Bond these days, and I don't give a f*cking sh1t of how great Skyfall is.

A couple of Daniel Craig movies - Invasion was one - are displayed prominently in my local Tesco. As Skyfall made a load of cash retailers think punters will be interested in Daniel Craig's other movies.

"Makes you wonder what he'd be doing now if he didn't know Barbara Broccoli."
"After Craig leaves Bond he will have all the future of a snowman in the Sahara desert."
"He would be a soda jerk with a white hat on working at a malt shop."
"TV and small-scale indie films probably."
"So why does Crag-like Face keep getting choice roles?"

This is worrisome, should i call a psychologist ? :^o):

Please read this : "The Daniel Craig is not Bond forum provides a haven where people are free to debate the current direction of the Bond franchise in a democratic fashion.

THIS IS NOT A DANIEL CRAIG HATE SITE. Daniel Craig is not the devil, merely a talented actor who we feel was miscast as James Bond. For some of us, the issue is the fact that he looks so unlike any of the previous actors to play the role or any general conception of James Bond. Others feel that he appears too uncouth compared to the suave Bond we know and love. This was a widespread view when his name was first linked to the part, even from those who mysteriously fell into line when he was cast in November 2005."

"because Craig's unpopularity with the public"

Yes, try to reassure you !

"you will be all smiles the weekend the vampires take over the box office in November"
"It'll take more than just those vampires to destroy DC's Bond at the box office."

How do you feel now ?!

"What movies has the great Daniel Craig got to release this year?"

The Monument's Men, with George Clooney ;) Flap, that's what you say ? :^o):
