To be honest, I doubt most people care. At cinema box offices, all you'll ever hear will be ."two tickets for James Bond, please"
"two tickets for James Bond, please"
"Who? You must be off your rocker! There hasn't been a James Bond film in almost ten years!"
"but the poster is behind your head!"

A realistic portrayal of the situation at the cinema I think

4/1/2012 9:52:07 AM Sorry to be a nitpicker but even as an April Fool's joke Daniel Craig should never be considered the iconic Bond. No offense to Craig as an actor, but the iconic Bond as created by Ian Fleming was not a light haired man. Yes Bond is a fictional character, but I'm one who believes in only a certain amount of latitude in recreating a film portrait of fictional characters. It would be like redoing Huckleberry Finn with a girl, the Scarlet Letter with a guy or Wuthering Heights with Snookie and Mike "the Situation" or recasting Sydney Poitier's Mr. Tibbs role with Larry the Cable Guy. Artistic license should also include some common sense and sensitivity to the original character.
  the Jersey Shore comparison is QUITE FITTING. This dude they put in the movies as James Bond is more like them than he is like James Bond. Same tacky, unclassy attitude, fake tan, muscles that are disproportionate to his height... it's all there.

SO BJ did you win megamillions??? Because I want that job as casting director for Bond. Henry Cavill, Kate Beckinsale, Minka Kelly and Emma Stone (she'd be a good Moneypenny) as well as Jeremy Northam (M) and Kevin Weisman (Q. So what, he can do British accent even if he's American, and he's already played Q in Alias basically) better get ready
"Are we on coms?"

LOL I love April Fool's Day.

I went to Mass this morning and had to sit in the family room/crying room because the church was so full. Now I know why it's called that-there was a kid in there who was screaming her head off-I thought her head was going to start spinning around!

There is a story that Adel might be doing the Bond theme after all.
It based on her saying she will have a song out later this year and album maybe in two years.
Adele discussed the future of her career and rumours that she may take five years out to make the follow up to her album '21'.

Denying this, Adele said: "I'm not going on a break for that long! I have to write another record, if I didn't write my own songs i'd be out next week with a new album, but because I write my own songs I have to take time and live a little bit. There was a good two years between my first and second album, so it will be the same this time."

"There will be a new song probably coming out at the end of the year, and then it depends how quickly I write some new songs - but it won't be for a good two years."

I saw some clips of Craig as "Bond" on the BBC looking awful in a skin tight suit and a skinhead. We need Skyfall to flop to put an end to this charade.

Ugh! I saw that on the news and had to turn it over. I'm not surprised he's planning to play Bond for as long as he can because he's got **** all else to do now with all his other films bombing.

Hopefully, Bond 23 fails miserably and receive no recognition, and this individual's service as the next Bond will no longer be required.

This will leave 007 fans shaken and stirred up.
James Bond will be knocking back a Heineken instead of his iconic vodka martini in at least one scene from “Skyfall,” according to Advertising Age, since not even Her Majesty’s Secret Service, it seems, can stop the evil Hollywood product-placement machine. And Daniel Craig’s Agent 007 will also plug the Dutch lager in a commercial to run globally with “Skyfall,” due out in November.
The famous “shaken, not stirred” catch phrase is one of the most anticipated lines in Bond movies, and Tirian Harvey, 35, who tends bar at St. Dymphna’s on St. Mark’s Place in the East Village, says this could be a recipe for disaster: “It goes against tradition. It’s like if he stopped driving an Aston Martin.”
Christoph Lindner, professor at the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis, disapproves.
“It is scandalous that Bond is ditching the martini for a beer, since it breaks a 50-year tradition that many Bond fans are heavily invested in. It’s not that Bond is drinking something that seems, on the surface, so un-Bondian; what’s really interesting is that so many of us care.
