Pathetic! There was a very good reason why Bond never advertised Beer, Co-stars, Bond Girls fine, 007 no go. What all this means is Heineken was not going to reup unless EON came up with something better, so they threw in Craig. Bad move for Heineken Danny Boy couldn't sell Marmite hell last time when promoting Quark he was wearing a Rolex when he was supposed to be promoting Omega.
Bond selling beer is wrong, forgetting about damaging the image of Bond they have to come up with something better than the lame Vesper and Roger Moore get a room ad or the shadow boxer Coke Zero failure. Bond already has an ad promoting a brand of imported beer, Dos Equis. EON has to come up with something better than Jonathan Goldsmith & Will Lyman have collaborated on since before CR was released or else it is a lesson in failure marketing.

Heineken played some hard ball, with all of the budget cuts EON literally could not afford to let this deal die.

   you crack me up.

They are joking right, they say this is the FINALE of the movie? Can't think of a less fitting final scene, are we joking? LOL Bond in a dirty (that's the same suit we've seen in other photos that is all dirty) suit running inside a bank (maybe about to explode or something). Final scene?!

OMG. BEER?!?!? BOND ADVERTISING BEER!? are you joking?!?! Bond can advertise champagne, whiskey, fine wines, MARTINI! (free ad for Martini in each movie basically LOL). BUT BEER?!? And Heineken, no less. NOT EVEN GUINNESS! Utterly pathetic. Goes completely against Bond's image. Then again, it fits Craig's blue collar image perfectly though. Seen as he's no James Bond, I guess it works. :->

More images from "Cold Light of Day", and they look like there's going to be great action in the movie!

http://www.filmtrophy.com/2012/02/09/mo ... ry-cavill/

I am laughing because Henry Cavill is playing just a random American boy here, he is not polished and neither has the intention of playing Bond at all and yet even like this he is much more believable than Craig. Also, I'm laughing at a few (honestly not that many, just a couple of very insistent and rude people on AJB that have been removed ever since I spoke with them a long while ago) Craig fanboys who said that Cavill wasn't masculine enough. LMAO!! Those Superman set photos set them straight, and even these, with him being just an American boy, certainly showcase his masculine presence. I'm going to enjoy the HELL out of this film!

And seriously, they better have Cavill sign as Craig's replacement for Bond PRONTO. Those set photos, Craig looks AWFUL even in that action scene. Old, cranky, with a ridiculous U.S. marine haircut that makes those ears stick out even more. What the hell are they thinking?! HE already doesn't look as Bond as is, at least TRY and make him look more like it by having a decent (LONGER that is) haircut and avoid close-ups at ALL COSTS!

Cr-egg has fleas and his dermatologist spoke with Mendes to keep his hair cut close to his skull so the medicinal anti-flea shampoo can work. That's the only explanation for having Cr-egg look like a chihuahua: http://doggies.com/blog/wp-content/uplo ... huahua.jpg

8 p.m.: FOX: "American Idol" (18.9 million viewers, 10.8/17 households) Last night. Ale presents HER VOICE on Monday: NBC: "The Voice" (19.3 million, 10.8/16). Supposedly DVR use gets figured into these ratings after a few days as well but straight on live watching, Idol lost, and they are not handling it that well either. Poor Nigel. :happy spin:

Pierce did a beer advertisement well sort of it was footage cut form the film.
I would be surprised if Craig actually did a unique scene for them.

Oh Lord. That's bad regardless, but when you know photographers are constantly after you, can't you just pay some attention? seriously!

Meantime, Henry Cavill has landed another interesting role:

http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118049968?refCatId=13

And this, without having any production head stalking him around sets and promoting him like her toy boy (clearly most sane women are in love with him, but that's another matter )

LOL BJ, The Voice barely edged Idol but the point of the thing is that The Voice started like the SMALL program with a BIG disadvantage because it's on NBC.. so their result is even more so significant. Lithgoe seems quite annoyed, but at his place I frankly wouldn't be, he's made HUNDREDS of millions over the years with such programs, so just concede that after a while there is going to be a program that eventually does better than yours, instead of being polemic. The irony is that The Voice and Smash, that nobody would have bet to be such big hits at first, may turn out to finally be the two shows that finally revert NBC's downtrend. I sure hope so. More quality programming, and that's especially true about Smash, can only be good for TV in general.
