A Wave at the Lurkers (Welcome Thread)
Re: A Wave at the Lurkers (Welcome Thread)
Speaking in general...
I think more people are sick of the welcome they get at other sites ("You're Pierce fan!", much?) and don't like that they can't have an opposing opinion. It makes sense that they would come to a place like this

I've been lurking at some of the posts on this forum.
That's all that can be said of most of it.

Lurkers/new people are not a problem..it's when they cause problems, like Sylvia Trench/B. Brown did that they are.

Re: A Wave at the Lurkers (Welcome Thread)
Hi. I'm along term Bond fan Both Books and Movies.Really got hooked in 77 with TSWLM, and Count myself as a Classic Bond Fan e.g.1962 -2002. I never had a problem with any Bond actor until Now. He's just not right, and goes against anything I've ever read about what Cubby looked for in a Bond.
CR was Ok a little long ( they could of cut at least 20 mins ) but QOS was a complete pile of S **t. It's as if some Third party with no knowlage of the series had made a Bond movie.
And as Others have pointed Out on most other Sites Boy do they Love Craig,Speaking out against them, gets you pulled apart.I used to think It was me, That I couldn't see what the Others did.
What a Great Actor He is, The Much more realistic Take on Bond
I still can't see it. and as for Realistic ..................................
No cars have air bags that work, Bond can Open a Parachute 15ft from the ground and walk away.He can quickly disarm several other MI6 Personel in alift. yet these are the very same kind of secenes that The Older Bond movies get slated for by the Craig Fans.
Sill, Looking Forward to read the many great posts and Hope to add my Two cents now and then.

Do I have a duplicate account?
If so I'd love to know which one.

Why are you suddenly a bit grumpy about the friendly multiple accounts jibes: you always accuse others of having no sense of humour after taking offence at your japes!Captain Nash wrote:Unless you've created one without my knowledge Carl.carl stromberg wrote:You're the expert on duplicate accounts!Captain Nash wrote:I didn't think duplicate accounts were allowed.carl stromberg wrote:The resistance will grow now that Craig is planning to ruin {i] another[/i] Bond film.bjmdds wrote:Growing by leaps and bounds and we will conquer all.

Oh it's a joke. Knowing from past experience, members here seem to be devoid of a funny bone, or sense of humour.
Well in that case, guess what my other account here is?

Re: A Wave at the Lurkers (Welcome Thread)
Correction. It always was popular in quality..........and now quantity. We know our stuff and have prevailed and been proven correct. The pro-Cr-egg minions, as our buddy FBF calls them, can worship their craven image as Bond all they like. Contrary to their beliefs, Eon is done and Cr-egg is through.
