I liked the Monkees....i remember watching there TV shows in the late 60's here in the UK.

They had some really catchy songs.

Pirates 4 broke $1 billion dollars Transformers 3 set new records is this a sign things are turning around or will the next month's movies be hurting from the big names sucking all of the oxygen out of the room?

Sleuth channel on Time Warner cable has a Bond marathon on for 2 days. It has CR on now. It is becoming intolerable watching it. Very poorly done film and Cr-egg's profile is hideous to look at.

  you never miss a chance BJ!

EA, regarding Transformers and Pirates, no the tide isn't turning.. these are some of the biggest box office weekends in the year and those are MAJOR blockbusters... nothing anywhere near Bond (in that Bond is MUCH smaller than those). And remember: them making incredible grosses does NOT equal them making a profit.

I saw Sleuth was showing CR the other day.

My nephew saw the new Transformers movie this weekend.Twice. So he contributed to the box office receipts!

R U A mission impossible fan BJ?

I remember the original TV series and they were very good............the films are pretty good as well, though i was dissapointed that the character
of 'Jim Phelps' in the first film was made into a villian.

I know that 'Mission Impossible' the TV series was remade in the late 80's i believe, but not sure if it was imported into the UK.....was it n e good?

EA

I saw the trailer when they released it (can't remember if it was last week or the week before) and I think it looks GREAT. I don't care how much Tom Cruise hate there is around.. he may be a nutjob as a person but I still think he's a very good actor, and I love most of his movies. Not to mention this has JJ Abrams directing. And it shows.

I much prefer this new homepage, makes it more of a generic Bond site.
As someone who doesn't mind Craig in the role of Bond...i just wish the domain name was different as well. :)

I like the films better than the last 2 Eon films. Remade tv series? I am not sure about that so I guess it did not go over well here. Phelps as a villain was a disgraceful plot line.

Ha! I LOOOVE the Henry Cavill entry in the new homepage! Well done!

What MI remake are you talking about EA? I don't think they ever remade it, they were talking about remaking it last season on TV? unless it was just a few episodes and I completely missed out on it in the 80s? I agree with BJ, the MI movies are for sure way better than the last two EON ones.

EA: not surprisingly, there's no news on Bond 23. I really don't know how they will manage to cram together stuff for an October 2012 release at this point. It's just bizarre.
