This should be on the other thread but..I wonder about the timing of the wedding. It seems awfully quick- they were dating then married really0-IMO-quickly-and I wonder(and this is speculation) that they might have another announcement soon?

 as long as it is a girl. I couldn't endure the thought of having to deal with another little Craigster around for many years to come, that my possible babies would have to endure as well

LOL EA, you're right. The secrecy has always been there but like I said, in the case of CR I read the entire script various months before the movie was out, and I wasn't the only one. So it only works up until a certain point. However when there's no plot to leak (QoS like you said  ) or when there is no finished script (Bond 23) well it becomes a bit difficult to leak any sort of information

I respect Craig for only having 2 people(besides his daughter and new stepson)there. He may work for Babs, but he doesn't have to invite her if he doesn't want to. I'm guessing the other two guests(besides the kids) were family members.

Do u think this will endear Craig to some of u now....as he may smile more, being a happily married man?...No didnt think so

Surely we must get some news on Bond 23 soon....iam not sure that India thing is 100%, we had heard earlier that there was location scouting in South Africa...............but both could be true as Bond films usually hop across several countries in a film.

I dont know why there has to be so much secrecy surrounding a James Bond film plot, and that absolutely no info is given out to the media..... well in the case of QOS there wasnt a plot to leak anyway

EA
QOS had plenty of leaks early on some were wrong casting rumors like Al Pacino. I still think if they had to write a novelization QOS would be petter plotted out but probably still a mess.

I doubt Craig will smile more it shows his wrinkles  [spoil]Image[/spoil]

I hope whenever Bond 23 films they do a better job of representing a colorful culture than they did for QOS.

It is a little bit rude but when you are famous I guess it is hard to do something like this.

There were tv news reports of DC's private quiet wedding today here in the UK.

It was speculated that as Craig was marrying a well known actress, it would give the couple a great deal more clout in Hollywood,
as was such the case for Brad Pit / Angelina Jolie and Michael Douglas / Catherine Zeta Jones.

I personally dont think it will add that much clout for either Craig or Weisz...what do members here think?

Hadn't thought of it like this. Maybe if he had married his old girlfriend I wouldn't be tempted to consider this but...I don't know, when was the last time what Weisz mattered to anyone? Craig only matters right now because he is controversial as Bond.

Maybe in Mr&Mrs Craigs minds it makes them more powerful as a Hollywood couple I don't see it. If they do thinks this then now is the time to do it becuase he was only has one more bond in him after he is done he'll be fighting hard to avoid being the next Dalton. IMHO If this is why they got married they are going to be very disappointed.

Green Lantern descended to third with $18 million. Its fall was a steep 66 percent and was more severe than both Thor and X-Men: First Class. The drop was closest to Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer among past comparable titles. What's worse, at $89 million in ten days, Green Lantern also had a lower total through the same point.

Interesting news out there about area 51: "Area 51: Was the Roswell UFO Really a Soviet Hoax?
In her new book, Area 51: An Uncensored History of America's Top Secret Military Base, Annie Jacobsen delves into the nuclear tests and secret aircraft development on the carefully guarded federal preserve in Nevada. But the book's most memorable passages detail Area 51's legacy as purported UFO Central—and, in particular, what happened there after the alleged 1947 crash of a flying saucer near Roswell, N.M. Jacobsen's take veers from the standard conspiracy narrative in just about every imaginable respect: The saucer, she writes, was Russian-made and crewed by human children who were surgically altered to resemble aliens by Nazi death-camp doctor Joseph Mengele, acting at Joseph Stalin's behest."

OK, I don't know about anyone else, but this is the part I have a problem with. Well, one of the parts.

Considering Mengele went to south America after the war and not downtown Moscow, oh wait I know the authors off her trolly.

All these conspiracy stories are fascinating....its makes you wonder how many deep secrets our goverments have kept from us over the decades.

Maybe the aliens at 'Area 51' helped the Americans with there rapid intervention into Space. We know the Germans certainly helped out! :)

It doesn't, really. It's just another wacko conspiracy theory like the thousands of others that inspired the movie.
