Your reputation must have gone before you.bjmdds wrote:But CB.net refuses to post my responses James, so which is worse? They are kindred sites with Eon influence. Absolutely James Bond isn't bad to be honest. Both myself and Allessandra (and quite a few others) have felt quite free to speak our minds there. They have people with very different views there but they all seem to get along.

Cbn is the 300, diagree with them and they'll go sparta on you.Charles Vine wrote:Can someone clue me in about CBn? I don't think that can be true - didn't they get into a lot of trouble for using Eon copyright material a few years ago (and this is why fan art I have posted there has always been (pretty bluntly) turned down). If you look at CBn (if you can bring yourself to do it) there really aren't any film stills or anything on there. There are much more on here - is this place Eon authorised?Charles Vine wrote:Can someone clue me in about CBn? I have read your posts at CBn, I can see them in that video thread (which is wierdly pro).bjmdds wrote:But CB.net refuses to post my responses James, so which is worse? Welcome Rosey. Where do you come from? They refuse to let my posts go through now.La Viande Rose wrote:I have read your posts at CBn, I can see them in that video thread (which is wierdly pro).bjmdds wrote:But CB.net refuses to post my responses James, so which is worse? I suspect they are letting stuff through to have their multiple minions try to attack it.
The moderators there are pretty hopeless - there's one massive egotist, Jim, who pervades and the place is just a big suck-up to him.

It's MGM that owns the rights to images, not EON. The movies are produced by MGM, while EON has the rights on Bond, MGM owns copyright on photos and film stills. So yeah they did get in trouble, but not with EON. They got in trouble with MGM. And yes it is confirmed that at least a couple of the people who manage things there work with EON. It's not even much of a secret. The fact there are people who work for EON there enables EON to of course dictate a line, and clearly them working for EON implies they take care of any Craig dissent posted on CommanderPravda.net. But that doesn't mean EON EVER officially said the site is theirs or even endorses it. They could never do something like that officially, they'd look beyond pathetic! And at that point, by paradox, they would be forced to let all opinions flow in, or they would make a joke of themselves to the eyes of everyone in the industry.I don't think that can be true - didn't they get into a lot of trouble for using Eon copyright material a few years ago (and this is why fan art I have posted there has always been (pretty bluntly) turned down). Really? Who? If that's true, it's a bit serious for them as they do claim to be independent. I think it would be worth your stating who those people are as that's misleading of them if it's true.Alessandra wrote:shaken not stirred wrote:katied wrote:And yes it is confirmed that at least a couple of the people who manage things there work with EON. Yes. New members have to have their first 3 post approved by a moderator, it is purely an anti spam bot measure.La Viande Rose wrote:Well, I keep getting "moderator will view my posts" messages here, so it may be because you are new there?
I'm not about to publicly expose names of people. They know who they are. It's not my place to say names and I never would in a forum anyway. Many people are aware who the people in question are anyway.La Viande Rose wrote:Really? Who? If that's true, it's a bit serious for them as they do claim to be independent.
