Here's some 'fan art' I found that I know BJ is going to love.

Though it's only fan art, and unlikely it's not impossible.
That's Detente BJ.

Captain Nash, I presume you have missed out on the thread about Bond 23 getting a release date that has been posted in the section where it belongs, news? LOL And I think I can safely add I was the first one to post that.. and I mean the first in Bond forums. That's because I get news alerts on Twitter, so posted it straight away. I found it incredibly hilarious that this forum would be the first to have the news, and that's exactly why I immediately opened the topic. It's proof that this site is the best at everything, including timely news! And, I'm glad it's going ahead quick as I said many times, get done with it quick. The sooner, the better, since this will be Craig's last. So, yeah, all's good as we can finally focus on news and who will be the next Bond and I'm pretty sure everyone here knows about the news, and has known for hours

Correct FBF. I do not get this either. Another 14 more inches of snow due here tonight.
Unfortunately bad taste is a very widespread illness nowadays. And that's the only explanation, because seriously  OMG more snow for you guys! AND A LOT of it? What the hell, my friends in Boston will get the worst of it and they still haven't recovered from the last one. UGH, I hate winter. HATE! Hope you'll be safely at home and not moving but rather staying on the couch with a good movie and wife, BJMDDS?

 those times can't be right? AM? Just not right. I posted it at PM times, and AM for the US West Coast but certainly not 4 AM LOL. But since both are AM I presume they are in some crazy Australian time zone or something? You're right, I didn't consider MI6 because I never considered it even before  So, still works great for me! :D And, still means the news was out here long before you posted in this thread which was kind of my point originally. Also, this remains the best Bond forum  I'm happy about Bond 23, get done with it and quick. And finally we'll have news to talk about as they film and stuff. And, I can now entirely focus on the new Bond. Ahhhh, good times

I just hope This is the last act in the Craig trilogy, and it's finnaly put to rest and we can get back to having,Exciting, entertaining Bond Films,Once more. Sure Bond 23 will be a hit But sadly it will be inspite of the producers not because of them. It will be intresting to see how many Huge hits Craig will have untill then. Then with Bond 24 we can see how their going to F*** UP the series some more ! I do predict in a future Movie a gay villian who will be torn between killing or loving Bond.

There is no escape from Craig now. A four year break after making QOS which was one of the worst films ever made as well as the worst James Bond film. He will make about seven now. :cuss:

Not if Bond 23 tanks, he won't. We'll just have to hope that the break has been long enough for the moviegoing public to forget how awful QOS was and regain their faith in Bond.

I don't know they already know what he is going to do. They know there will be no cool gadgets and the girls will be under played. Quantum left the series with a broody middle aged man who likes to frequent the gym. I can't express how badly Quantum ruined everything for me, the Bond universe where Daniel Craig's new minted agent exists is toxic.

Oh yeah, FUN times are ahead. I love the casting process... and I can also get some good "behind the scenes" info at times, so that can get really interesting

 I think the horrid bankruptcy plus the fact Craig himself never wanted a long-term commitment to Bond will thankfully save us. The bankruptcy (horrible by all means) will help because the new partners won't stand for him as Bond. This is, taking into account a decent showing for the new movie, of course. And I agree, people go see BOND, not Daniel Craig. So if they have forgotten how bad QoS was, they'll go again. Since it's for the good of the franchise, let's hope that's the case. So Craig can end his freaking trilogy (still shameful that he's had 3 and Dalton 2. Just absurd) and we can finally move on and start enjoying BOND AS BOND again.

I think you described my reaction perfectly, and worded it far better than I ever managed to. I truly disliked CR as well, but QoS was a whole different level of bad and yeah, pretty much ended it for me re: Craig's Bond.

I am anxiously awaiting any sign of script here... because I know there isn't even a first draft yet, and since they will start filming later this year, uh, pretty much they'll have to RUN? not to mention change around the disaster that happened after the MGM appointed writer joined and then left in the summer? This shall be interesting

It's an absolute travesty that waxed fruit features is going to make more films than Timothy Dalton now.

Things must be bad in Hollywood for these actors as this was utter trash and is basically Harry Potter meets Clash Of The Titans, which is on HBO next week. FBF, check out Pierce as a centaur. You won't like it.
Does that mean a reboot for Percy Jackson?

Pierce deserves better than this for his post-Bond career.

LMAO  This made me laugh so hard. I know it's serious and tragic, but "waxed fruit features" has me laughing out loud, I can't help it. Brilliant! And yes, it is an absolute travesty, whatever one thinks of Craig's facial features.

According to some sources, the story is pretty much fleshed out. I wonder where Mr.Bond will be travelling this time?
I'm sure you'll be able to find this out before too long Ale.
BJ's gone a bit quiet in the last 24 hours. He was so sure that Dan wouldn't be back for Bond 23. Maybe the shock of the official announcement has shocked him.
I'd expect a possible second press releases from EON or MGM within the next few weeks. Just to keep everyone happy.
Maybe revealing a shooting location, and possible story elements.
Get to work Ale, you've got alot of work ahead of you.

I had incredibly good gossip for CR and lots of information. Not quite the same for QoS. I think it will all depend on how things evolve this round. But, casting people can be very chatty  Which is why at times I do get good gossip. And that is the part that amuses me the most

LOL Captain Nash, don't overestimate my abilities. I get good information at times but it's not like I can find out plot twists and the like as if nothing was. Well, I have been able to in the case of CR but it's not always Christmas, as we say in Italian  Still, the casting at least should be something I get a few amusing remarks out of... especially if I get the right contact

Nash, I think you might be needed back at MI6. I had a look at the thread over there about this news and some of the members are in need of a straightjacket.
