Looks real good and serious, aka Batman Begins. Reynolds did not come across poorly either. You will like it. Very Star Trekkie.

He saw Reynolds in action and changed his mind. Much as I was hoping that I'd change my mind about Daniel Craig once I saw him in CR. Sadly, it didn't happen, and QOS confirmed my initial fears even further.

From the trailer in the theatre he does not come off as bad as I thought after watching him in Adventureland. I am not 100% sure I will like him, but from what I saw yesterday it should do well. Routh stunk as Superman for me after his days on One Live To Live's ABC soap opera.

Hermione finally gets tough. :fight:
Hermione was definitely channeling her inner it-rhymes-with-witch  We've gotten flashes of that in previous movies, though.

HP 7 has done over $609 million worldwide already! JK will HAVE to do one more book in the near future I would bet. The demand by the public and the boredom of her doing nothing will drive it. Book number 8: Harry Potter and the Return To Hogwarts.

JK's done with Potter's main storyline. She could, however, write stories within the Potter universe but focusing on different characters in different setting.

NNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I hope that JKR wouldn't resort to such a lame plot device in order to keep milking the Harry Potter cash cow.

OK, looks like I have to eat humble pie. According to the estimates on Box Office Mojo, it's down nearly 60% on last weekend. The true figure may be different once the actuals come in, but not that different. This is why I usually avoid making predictions

Edit: Though to put things into perspective, HP7 made more at the US/Canadian box office in its first week than QOS did in its entire run.

Harry Potter's drop off is insignificant looking at how much money it is making. Quantum of Slumber had a small opening for a action movie and then fell to its death the week after. I saw a few weeks after sorry we went to that turkey.

I watched On Her Majesty's Secret Service the other night again for the fifth or sixth time, this is how a one off Bond movie should be. From the moment it opens Lazenby walks across the screen to the bond song we know it is going to be good. Not my favorite Bond and not the best story if the movies with Craig were done half as well I don't think I would complain as much.

I think the only thing wrong with OHMSS was Lazenby, really. Casting someone with no formal dramatic training in the most emotional of the Bond films was madness. He probably would have done OK in something like DAF or LALD where there was less acting required.

Sean in that OHMSS could have easily been his best. Althou Telly Savalas as Blofeld I always felt was a misstep. 'Who loves ya, baby?' ? :? ?
