I thought they were being treated as effectively one film, though. I'm guessing the composer of part 1 will also be the composer of part 2.

Inception is going to break the $800 million dollars mark soon. Maybe Eon should rethink their Bond formula I mean the old one that Christopher Nolan used appears to be more potent.

I'm currently reading White Teeth by Zadie Smith. One of the characters has diabetic retinopathy and bleeds tears. This book came out in 2000, several years before CR. Not saying it was an inspiration  but I thought it was interesting!

Yeah. Clive was too old several years ago. My favorite movie of his is Gosford Park.

Killers had some neat homages to Bond. Although I couldn't buy Kelso as a killer at all. It made me see how the right actor makes crappy films enjoyable. They could cast an American as bond and I don't think anyone would care. If he had the charisma. They moved away from charisma for the last 2 movies. Dalton in Daylights had charisma in spades. The action in TLD is pretty damned good Dalton is there making it look easy. Craig smashes s**t and that's about all he is good for. I can't believe killing those guys in the bathroom and then the guy in the office is how James Bond got his 00 number, not the same James Bond I liked in Daylights and Goldeneye.

Anyone interested in Cowboys and Aliens?
Yes it's got Daniel Craig in it, get over it. But it actually sounds rather fun. And has a cast to die for.
Craig, Harrison Ford, Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde.
Bond and Indy in the same movie!
Well, I think it sounds fun, and will be keeping my eye on it.

Sam Rockwell & Olivia Wilde are interesting actors. Ford I dunno. His best days are behind him name one good film he has been in the last 10 year. Indy 4 made a lot of money but sucked. From the clips leaked it could go either way. :? Ford's performance seemed all over the place and Craig was doing the same tough guy stuff. I am not sold on the Cowboys part of the story. I got to seem more of the finished film to see if I might be interested. If Robert Downey Jr were in it would be on my must see sometime list just to see his performance. Ford is more a liability to me, Craig I dunno, doesn't matter overall might be interesting if the story works out. Right now based on what is out there I think it will fizzle quietly. It is going to be a big summer X-men Potter Transformers.

Cowboys and Indians will have a niche audience...with Craig diehards, mostly.the only people who are willing to shell out money to(willingly) see it.

Actually most of us want it to be a smashing success regardless of how mediocre it might be. He'll be making Cowboys and Aliens 2: Shanghai Noon and finally allow 007 to get back on the rails. I think he will be doing the complete Tattoo trilogy, they are already ramping up production on 2 and 3, that series will be cranked out like sausages keeping Daniel busy even if the Cowboys does not get a sequel.

What is with the same pre-balding spiky in the middle hair cut? It was rubbish in CR why he has stuck with it is a mystery.
 I thought he look a bit like Jeremy Irons!

I'll see The Girl With The Deagon Tattoo. If only to see how it compares. I loved the Swedish language version of the movie. Saw pictures of Rooney Mara, who plays Lisbeth Salander, in character during filming of Fincher's version..

Someone has to say it Robert Downey Jr left Cowboys and Aliens to make essentially a old school Bond film while Craig stepped in to make a RDJ movie.

BJ, Nowhere Boy, directed by friend-of-Craig Sam Wood is playing at a few movie theaters here. All the reviews I've read have been fairly positive.
