True. In fact, I think Connery was looking bored even by TB.

Still, a half-hearted Connery strutting his stuff around Japan in a 60's Bond film, with Barry soundtrack, Bernard Lee, Lois Maxwell et al, is still much better than the ghastly mess of TWINE.

Dr No for me too. The Sweeney didn't actually make a choice so I suggest we put his vote next to Die Another Day because he's a big fan of that film. Especially the invisible car.

It does seem a bit unfair to put two Pierce Brosnan films agaisnt two classic Sean Connery films. How about GoldenEye v Casino Royale as the next round?

If you don't want to participate Harvey, then don't.
I do not hate every Bond film apart from CR, and I dislike anyone assuming that I do.
The rounds for this tournament are picked entirely at random. I'm not pairing films of my choice.
If you have any further discussion of the tournament, can you please keep it in the tournament discussion thread. That's what it's for. :wink:

As for your vote The Sweeney, well to keep this all fair, I will only count a posted vote I'm afraid.

And afterall that, I'll vote...Doctor No.

How come OHMSS, LTK and GF all reside in my top 5 Bond films (and in my top fav films of all time) - ALL with different Bond actors...?

Or do you just want to believe I am only a CR/Craig worshipper?
