We didn't give ours back either. Were we supposed to?It was crowded and busy doubt anyone noticed 5 glasses missing. The way i understood it is everytime we go to a 3d movie we have to buy the glasses again.Everytime.katied wrote:oscartheman wrote:We has to pay extra for the glasses too.I was told we were not to reuse them either.Hope nobody really holds to the rule on that. Its a great big waste of money if they do.

Paying each time is such a ripoff and one reason why I don't see movies in 3D!

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Latest Bond 23 rumor: Sam Mendes(Road To Perdition) may be directing.Needless to say this has not gone over well at the fanboy boards. People are still going to suggest people who would never in a million years direct a Bond film(*cough*Christopher Nolan*cough*)

I'm not sure I'd like to watch a 3-D Craig Bond film Oscar!oscartheman wrote:With avatar doing big a business as it has you think Eon will try to jump on board the 3d train
Did anyone watch the Channel 4 3-d season? I didn't manage to get the glasses from Sainsburys.
Bring back Bond!
Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I dunno, I think a 3D Bond film would have a certain appeal...but financially, it's not going to happen with Bond 23(obviously!)

I've already stated my feelings on the other thread...I don't hate him but he's really going to have to be a good director to make Bond 23 worthy.

As Dr. Evil Blofeld perhaps? He's essentially played him in Goldmember.bjmdds wrote:YAWN: Maybe Kevin Spacey will be the villain?

You might be on to something there MP. Good thinking. A bald Lex Luthor and a bald Blofeld for Kevin.

I know, right! LOL and I wonder, with the fans calling for a return of Blofeld(among other characters), will Babs and Mikey give in and hire Kevin Spacey as Blofeld?
If it's the bald Blofeld, they are going to be laughed out of the buisness! Nobody, and I do mean nobody, will take it seriously
well, save for Bond nerds that don't care that the whole Blofeld thing has been parodied so much it's a joke!

Spacey worked with Mendes already. Maybe he will want him as the heavy.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
It's freezing here in NYC and our buddies in the UK are being socked with snow and frost as well. So much for this global warming BS. Funny how nothing is mentioned about this by these Al Gore-nicks. Maybe Morgan will incorporate this theme into Craig's hopefully last film as Bond. With Jackman around it is hard to believe that Bra-colli would not jump at the chance to lock him up for 5 films. I bet her da-ddy would.

*groan* more topical b.s. from the Bond franchise.bjmdds wrote:It's freezing here in NYC and our buddies in the UK are being socked with snow and frost as well. So much for this global warming BS. Maybe because the "Al Gore-nicks" (as you call those who prefer to trust climate scientists over oil industry lobbyists) are scientifically literate enough to know the difference between weather and climate.bjmdds wrote:It's freezing here in NYC and our buddies in the UK are being socked with snow and frost as well. Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I take it Kris you are in line with Gore et al? Trust the same climate scientists who were directed not to reveal certain findings? We just had one of the coolest summers in NYC and now the UK is being hit hard as well. These climatologists are all on board the gravy train yet Gore still leaves huge carbon foot prints every time he flies around in his private jet. By the way, Oh-bama had to fly home quickly from the climate conference because a blizzard was on it's way to Washington DC. I could care less about these oil companies for I want electric cars so I would not have to breath the lousy exhaust fumes produced by oil by-products, not because of a fallacy being preached as global warming. Brrrrrrrrr...it's freezing over 75% of the entire USA and not a peep from Gore's Bores.
