What's that old favourite that gets used around here everynow and then.

DENIAL!

Sweenster and I make some factual posts backed up with links to stories. And the best we can get in return is...
Mate, Craig is unrecognizable in everything he does. Most notably in Bab Broc's movies where he is completely unrecognizable as James Bond
He's an actor. That's what they do. It's all pretend.
Or a double helping of...
That's it Mazer, the truth be told.
No, the truth is based on fact, not just a few fans personal opinions.
At least katie has the right idea and acknowledges that Craig may infact be half decent in this play.
Which has nothing at all to do with Craig as James Bond btw.
Why has this play gained so much attention. It is CraignotBond right?
Not Craignotanythingatalleveragain.

I have to admit I am surprised that the play is a hit.If it keeps its popularity, great. Sorry, BJ.

But I wish him well and hope he finds success so he leaves and stops f**king up James Bond. Thankfully the financial crisis might have taken care of the latter concern.
We should all hope DC has a (cinematic) hit of some sort away from Eon/Barbara because then he might feel he doesn't have to rely on them so much and may move on. The thought of him making several more Bonds as he increasingly looks more and more like Jackie Mason is too horrible to contemplate.

Correct James. The truth be told. In 1999, after a few Bond films, The Thomas Crown Affair grossed $124 million STARRING Pierce Brosnan. After two Bond films, what have Craig's films done outside of Bond, except fail miserably? Now, a Broadway play where Craig plays a corrupt police officer who drinks and curses is considered a triumphant success by some? That type of role is his forte, NOT Bond.

No need to apologize. I wish you could see it here or in California for your own curiosity. This Saturday night has PLENTY(over 200) of available tickets by this particular broker: http://www.ticketliquidator.com/tix/tic ... id=1131290 What you must realize is that the 'so-called' $10 million advanced purchases were MOSTLY by these big corporate brokers who look to rip off the public by inflating the ticket prices for profit. When they cannot sell them, they lower the prices or eat them, but the advanced money is already paid. Hey, an idea  Maybe Eon can do a traveling show of it with Craig while Jackman takes over as Bond!

Me too, given how completely dominated Broadway is by musicals. I'll be even more surprised if the movie is (creatively) successful, given that the play has a cast of two and one location, a bare room with a couple of chairs in it.

The Eon game plan has been to market Craig on Broadway so he can be the only Bond actor with a Tony nomination/award. How do you do that? Pair him up with a well known Hugh Jackman on Broadway, get the checkbook out and do what they did marketing Craig as the best dressed man, one of the sexiest men, etc. Money makes show business and Eon has plenty to spend.

We may get it at one of our local theaters, the Old Globe, which gets some of the better known Broadway plays- not with the original casts most of the time.

But with MGM having financial trouble, the original cast might be able to do a road show while they sort things out 8)

BJ you have no proof whatsoever of any of your claims.
Back it up with facts. Not just what you've decided is true. For the most part, the truth be not told. :P

What does this mean?
Brosnan makes The Thomas Crown Affair whilst James Bond, and therfore is James Bond
Craig makes a Broadway play whilst James Bond, but is not actually James Bond.
Your post makes no sense Bj.

Here's the Old Globe's website. I think A Steady Rain might be a good fit.

Nope, he played kind of a jerk, actually. For CSI Miami(which has been losing me as a viewer), it was a pretty good episode.

Yet another positive review for A Steady Rain.
Is this why BJ has disappeared?
Is he on a sabbatical?
Back to the drawing board and all that.

C + sounds about right from what I have heard, outside of the fem-groupies who attend to see nudity where none exists. C+ on Broadway is nothing to rave about.

I've read a whole lot of reviews now on A Steady Rain, and the most negative it gets is 3 stars, average. No bad reviews as of yet.
And, not suprisingly Craig seems to be winning the battle between the two of them with most reviewers....American reviewers at that!!

No doubt BJ will have his reasons to counter act this, after preying and hoping Craig would fail in this play.....
