I would say if Craig does Bond 23 and another (non-Bond) project with Barbara not long after then he starts to lose his dignity.

I don't disagree with that....Every time I think Babs can't sink any lower she does.Whatever next? casting Craig in the remake of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or that book they have the rights to? :?

I would probably be the ONLY New Yorker who would recognize him and I would love to say hello to him on behalf of the Sweenster and his pals.......BUT.....that 'ain't' what would happen if I happen to see him. No autographs for moi.
BJ, I was just wondering as you were talking about New York, have you ever seen Woody Allen out and about or does he keep a low profile?
I sat next to Neil Simon last month in a chinese restaurant in mid-town. He was there with his 4th or 5th wife. I almost started to talk to him about The Odd Couple but decided to let him be. I have never seen Woody Allen, nor would I care too.

The other 5 actors playing Bond were just that....actors. Craig has become Broccoli's protege, that is the problem. She has some perverted driving force to prove to the world that this crumb matters in show business, not only Bond. She is failing miserably.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Babs hiring DC for A Steady Pain is incestuous, for lack of a better word.

Jackman aint gonna happen BJ, get that one out of your head. Craig has at least two more films untill his contract is up.
Though I'd say Henry Cavill stands a good chance next time around.
I wonder if the role he lost out for CR will return to him again? Seems to be a family tradition. Having a future Bond star waiting in the wings untill the time is right. Cubby pursued Timothy Dalton through the 70's and 80's untill he signed in '86.
I'd say the same may be true of Cavill.

That's just being silly BJ. Daniel Craig had a proven record as an actor before Bond, has been widely accepted by many as Bond, and will have a career after Bond. The fact that you and katie choose to dislike him is your problem. It makes it very hard to have a sensible discussion with you, when you make comments like that. :cuss:
Considering his success as Bond and now the early positive reviews for a steady rain, I'd say that Craig is proving a winner for her.

I wasn't aware that Babs and Dan were now related.
I'd say that there is a better word, not a lack of.

Incestuous: Excessively close to and resistant to,outside influence.

Thought I'd post that, since there is more than one meaning to the word and not just the Dueling Banjos one everyone thinks of first.

True, using a word like nepotism would have been better when describing Babs and DC but I think incestuous is closer to the truth!

How about the photo from that fake news story about Craig being burned in a fire at Pinewood Studios? The one where he looks like the villain from some crappy kids' comedy film who has just blown himself up, all blackened and smoking.

Craig and Jackman were on Oprah from Central Park NYC Friday for a moment I was told by my friend. Jackman did all the talking. They gave her tickets I believe. Craig stood there like a nice statue.

http://www.asteadyrainonbroadway.com/index.html Why would Jackman allow the billing with Craig's name first unless Broccoli ordered it this way?

That picture with the combo of Hugh and DC's faces is unflattering. They could have made Hugh look better(but I'm sure Queen Babs has say on anything related to the play so that ain't happening. :? )

Why would Craig allow Jackman to have his name first? Depends on who is judged as the bigger star these days. Arguably I would say Craig is.

Another reason could merely be the fact that they have appeared alphabetically.....?

(reminds me of the Towering Inferno cover...who first - McQueen or Newman....and was settled with one name slightly higher on the right than the other).
