USA network just showed the 2:24 CR again. Omit the entire opening black and white scene, do no reboot, make the free run scene the opening sequence, and this easily could have been Brosnan's 5th Bond film. It is basically about a poor stock deal, a card game to win back money, and a deceitful woman. Craig's entire mannerism from the way he walks to his putrid profile to his ridiculous short hair style makes this film so unappealing to me. This definitely should have been Pierce's.

I'll pass on watching CR though when I mentioned the fact CR was on TV my 11-year-old nephew expressed interest in watching it.

Where is 002 young Skywalker these days? Can he check in to update us on his whereabouts?

The bigger question is, will you see it, being Stateside.

There is no chance of me seeing it right now, as I'm living in New Delhi at the mo....... :martini:

I'm on a 2 year contract with work. Food is ok but I'm sick of curry now (never thought I'd say that). My stomach is finally hardening up to `Delhi belly'.

I've no idea if Indian women fancy Craig.........(yet) !
I never ate curry. What does it taste like?
That's a rather grand adventure working in India. BJMDDS, I cannot believe you have never eaten curry.

No, I'm really in India. Been here 5 weeks now, and a little bit homesick. At least the Preimership football games are live here (including Hull City).

BJ was asking what curry is like. Depends which one you get. There are mild ones, medium spicy ones, and ones which blow your head off...... :skull:

Is it true that the indian food you get in England is nothing like real Indian food?

It is slightly different. The meat dishes in India are usually always on the bone, whereas in UK they are fillet boneless pieces. The sauces in UK consist of thicker ingredients, whereas the sauces in India (also known as gravy) can be fairly thin and runny.

I actually prefer the Indian style food in the UK because the quality of meat is better.....but also maybe because I'm more used to that style of curry in the UK. The menus are not as wide ranging as the UK ones either, but apparently south Indian food is supposed to be better than where I am now.

I live in San Diego and we have VERY good Indian food here.I'd say of all the places I've been to, only one was sub par.

Dunno if you're an adventurous eater, BJ, but if you are, definitely try Indian food.

If you're a wimp when it comes to spice, I'd avoid anything spicy, but I like the spice and I mix it with raita(a yogurt sauce) which cools it way down.

Personally,if I had to only eat one thing at a Indian restaraunt it would be Tandoori chicken.

You can't go far wrong with Tandoori chicken. Most people usually like it, even if they don't like curry.

There's a place here in the States called California Pizza Kitchen which does gourmet pizzas(a BLT pizza as an example-gross,but my sister-in-law and niece like it :P).

Anyways, one of the things on their menu is a Tandoori chicken pizza. They took it off the menu for a while but it's back. Definitely an acquired taste but not as strange as a BLT pizza!

The Tandori Connection? A great name for a Bond flick. I have yet to try Indian cuisine. What similar thing does a Tandori Chicken taste close to? Teryaki sauce(which I like)?

Tandoori is a mix of several different spices and, from my experience(apart from some tandoori paste I bought at Williams Sonoma) is very mild.

Trader Joe's has a vindaloo that's good-probably nowhere NEAR as spicy as what you would get at a Indian restaraunt, but it's passable.

The Star Trek reboot is doing HUGE numbers in the USA, already $54 million ahead of both CR and TBMQOS. Who would have thought such interest in a reboot. Maybe Broccoli will now attempt to steal some of ST's ideas and use it in Bond 23 after her Broadway phase of creativity is over?
