Good first Bond movie?

What's a good first Bond film for a 9 year old?

I'm thinking Man with the godlen gun.

My first Bond film was YOLT on TV when I was around that age. TSWLM was out in the cinema at the time, but my parents wouldn't take me to see it for some reason (probably lack of money). I'd suggest both of those would be good films for a 9 year old, even if YOLT is not exactly a fan favourite. I even enjoyed Moonraker when I was 12, even though I find it all but unwatchable now.

One of the Connery films(Goldfinger,probably)Violence-wise, it isn't anything a 9-year-old hasn't seen already.

Well, he just wanted to watch family guy.

Which was surprisingly raunchy, at least compared to what I watch when it first came on.

So we watched hancock.

Oh, and for it's worth Craig haters, the other day I got him to watch the end of FYEO, and today, he outright refused Casino Royale.

My nephew saw Hancock and liked it.Family Guy I would most definitely NOT let a kid that age watch.

Though for my money, The Spy Who Loved Me would be perfect.

I'm not surprised. CR is probably paced too slowly for a 9 year old. Hell, the second half was paced too slowly for me.

Kris, my nephew was bored with CR the first time he saw it(when he was 10)but he's watched it on DVD a few times since.

I'd say Dr. No. It's relatively harmless, the dragon scene maybe scary.
It is the first Bond movie I've seen all the way through. Caught parts of other Bonds on TV but Dr No was the first one we (my Dad and us kids) sat through beginning to end.

Spy who Loved might not be bad either.
